It was great experience with this hotel's staff. We got there in the early morning by ferry and bus 70 and the staff was friendly. Though he could not let us check in that early, but he offered us to use washroom and leave our huge luggage there so that we could wander around in downtown.
Obviously it's not a fancy hotel. It's more like a family run motel and the facilities were a bit outdated, but there's free parking, and the location was unbeatable. It's almost in the center of downtown area. We found it was so close to everything, a variety of great restaurants, shops and cross street there was even a newly opened Nofrills. In 10 to 15 minutes walk we saw all major iconic sceneries and museums (If you don't want walk, there are a lot of buses to take to go everywhere). The next morning we got up late. To catch our shuttle bus at Capital City Bus Exchange at 6:45 sharp, I decided to take Uber. I don't if it was a mistake or not as we could have walked there in 15 minutes or taken bus there in 7 or 8 minutes. Instead we waited for our ride 7 or 8 minutes when there were so 7 or 8 buses right passing us, but with Uber driver' help we finally made it and caught our shuttle bus last minute. And the total ride costed us only $8 plus $5 tips - that's how close it was located to city center!

Very old and has not been updated for years. A lot of years. Location is good if u don’t have a car.

Cozy little spot in a great location! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and walking distance to the waterfront. Perfect for a quick stay in Victoria.
