The hotel is located in a great area overlooking the Inner Harbour, right downtown and walkable to all the tourist attractions. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. However, noise was a problem sometimes as you could hear people walking above you due to the bare floors. Best to ask for a room on the 3rd floor. The included breakfast was very good. Good selection of hot and cold items in a bright breakfast room.

I received an upgrade to a king bedroom and the fridge was so noisy that we didn’t sleep very well. I think they have to take care of those details as they make the difference between a pleasant and unpleasant stay. The location is very good and the breakfast was good enough.

An overly expensive rip off. They call.it a heritage manor turned hotel. Rooms were old, a/c did not work right and room.was not equiped with amenties such as lotions or other conveniences. House keeping left their dirty linen bag behind. Breakfast was simply horrible and we skipped the next days breakfast for Pendray Tea House. Food items not well labelled. Terrible for those who have physical limitarions. Reception has an attitude. This place takes advantage of nostalgia.

Perfect place to stay within walking distance of the Clipper ferry. Older hotel with large rooms, a bit dated. Ours had a small kitchen, as well as harbor views. Nice breakfast in a lovely room with lots of windows overlooking the harbor. There are ~10 steps up and down from the lobby to the breakfast area for those with mobility concerns. Easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf, govermnent buildings, and museums, as well as Empress Hotel and shops.

I was really impressed about the location, which was excellent along the harbor. The staff was so accommodating, and the housekeeping staff was wonderful as well and you could tell there was a camaraderie amongst them which made for a really pleasant day. The grounds and the area was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the spaciousness of our room. The buffet breakfast was more than Adecco and had a good selection of yoghurt and cereal and cheese and scrambled eggs and sausages, etc. a small note to the chef please cut up the melon much smaller in your fruit salad. Mine kept skittering off my plate as I tried to cut it all in all we’d return and of course there’s a bonus of the tea room next-door.

Wonderful complimentary breakfast. Walking distance to the inner harbour and downtown Victoria. Definitely older dated rooms. They did renovate it but does still have the old house smell. Unfortunately our room also had a musty and unpleasant bathroom odor that also spills into the bed area. Their soaps are also unscented, so can't even mask the smell.. parking is extra $ but well protected and good access.

The hotel is dated but the location was good. Close to the ferry terminal which is what I wanted, and walkable to downtown. Rooms were fine but not much room for luggage space. Breakfast is nothing special.

Quint, old hotel with great location in downtown. Needed refreshing a bit, but room was big and fairly well lit. Biggest problem was first floor was up 5 steps and breakfast room was down 5 additional steps. These steps were step and there was no ramp. Breakfast was standard hotel gare, eggs, meat, potatoes, assorted breads and muffins, fruit, juice, and waffles. Breakfast room was wonderful, a converted sun conservatory. Staff attentive. Nice place to stay

I loved the location and facilities. It was conveniently located and had great access to a beautiful part of Victoria. My room was clean and spacious. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. But, when I tried to use wifi to attend a business meeting Huntingdon let me down. Their wifi was inadequate. When I asked desk staff for help they offered no solutions. I was ejected from my meeting. When I told the staff about this bad experience they provided unhelpful advice. They didn’t offer any compensation, when their poor service cost me. It was a very disappointing experience and poor customer service. Video conference quality wifi is a standard of service that is basic.
