We were upgraded to a suite on the 10th floor. This had 2 balconies to enjoy the views over the water. The gym was good (as was the pool) and the cocktails in the bar were well made. Paking under the.hotel was convenient. The hotel is a short walk from.all the central amenities and the shops/restaurants.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Grand Pacific was truly underwhelming. We had booked a specific room in advance, but when we arrived, it was unclean, outdated, and poorly maintained. The furniture looked worn out, the carpet had stains, and the overall condition of the room felt neglected. We were told the only option was to pay an extra $60 to upgrade, which we reluctantly did. The upgraded room was only slightly better — still old and far from what you'd expect at this price point. To make things worse, when we asked for drinking water, the staff told us to use the tap in the washroom, as that was the only source available. That response was not only unprofessional but also unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. The staff seemed indifferent to our concerns and made no effort to make the stay more comfortable. There was no sense of hospitality or care. Overall, the experience felt like a waste of money and left a bad impression. I would not recommend staying here — there are far better options nearby that actually value their guests.

We love the location and the staff are very friendly and accommodating . The room was clean and we liked the double sinks . The bed was very uncomfortable , but we were only there two nights so it wasn’t too bad . We visited the restaurant and lounge and had a lovely time .

We stayed in room 821. The bed needs to be traded out. I like firm but this king bed was very firm. It took me three nights to adapt to its firmness. Check out the bed before you commit to the room. It may be fine for you but as a Pillowtop American, it was too hard. The hotel and everyone there were great. Especially Curtis the concierge.

We were very disappointed in this place. It seems nice from a distance, but the beds were really uncomfortable, our safe didn't work, we had burnt out lights in the room, the ice tongs were visibly dirty. The ice machine on our wing was set to off, so we had to go a long way to get to another one, and the hot tub was closed. Staff was friendly, but it did take a manager with keys to break a $20 bill. Had a much better stay in a 3 star hotel in Vancouver than this supposed 4- star hotel. Views were nice, but I could have gotten that from the neighboring hotels that were lower priced.

the location was perfect. it is where you want to be if you want to be near all rhe tourist spots in Victoria. the hotel was beautiful, our room was said to be renovated but the downside was the bed was hard and uncomfortable. we had backpains waking up.

What is supposed to somewhat be a luxury hotel is definitely getting out dated. We had to move from our first room due to an old noisy fridge and adjoining laundry room next door. Ended up as second room which also had an old noisy fridge as well and noisy air con. Not to mention the wall sconces in the bathroom having rust on them. For $375 a night I would expect better.

Staff at the front desk were accommodating and allowed us to jump in the pool while they made up our room. Parking area needs some better signage as it’s a bit of a maze getting to the front lobby. Really need to put some money into a better TV and options beyond basic cable. I guess the assumption is everyone will bring a laptop or ipad, so if you don’t be prepared (not that you want to watch a screen on a beautiful day in Victoria!).

A welcome rest for three days after working our way down from Campbell River. The hotel is in a great location and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We did not eat at the hotel as we wanted simple fayre in the morning and search out different cuisines via Trip Advisor. We had a two Queen bed room on the 2nd floor overlooking the ferry harbour area. Although the room was very good, after three days we found the beds a bit too hard and left with aches in our backs. Having two queen beds in the room did make it a bit roomy. Overall, a very good stay and we really enjoyed our visit. Thank you Grand Pacific.
