The hotel did not offer A/C in room and I did not know until after booking when the hotel sent me an email letting us know. Opening the window made the room very cold so it was very uncomfortable to spend the whole night getting up to close window & then open window when room became too warm.

The room was clean, nicely decorated. The heat was set so it was warm and cozy .The Christmas log fireplace was on the TV when we entered the room. It made for a warm , inviting introduction. Staff was friendly and helpful. Also had breakfast in the restaurant , which was really good. Would recommend

The staff were incredibly courteous. The room was good but the bedding was so uncomfortably. The pillows were so high they gave us all a bit of a strain in our necks the next day. Also the walls are so thin we could hear people above us walking and opening and closing things very early. It was a hard place to get sleep.

The front desk staff are excellent. The rooms are basic, bathroom is very small which was not an issue for me but you had to close the door to access the bath/shower. The location is pretty ideal for walkability. There is no air conditioning but a good quality fan is provided. My biggest issue was with the room doors. When you close the door it bangs but doesn't close all the way, so you have to give it another push. Basically no way to close the door quietly, so I kept hearing other doors banging in the hallway as other guests were returning to their rooms. Never experienced this before, surely it's fixable? Would only recommend this hotel if you are not a light sleeper.

Clean and quiet room, comfortable bed, prompt delivery of items requested and lovely staff. They only clean your room, I think every three days unless you request it. Not a problem.

Staff was friendly and helpful. When I ran out of Keurig cups, they gave me a mound of them to make sure I didn’t run out. Right on the bay front, get to see the ships and boats coming and going. What didn’t make sense to me though, they have a fridge, kitchen sink, pots and pans, forks and spoons, and a nice oven/stove top, but there is no exhaust fan over the top of it. So whatever smoke or smells you’re gonna get whilst cooking, there is no way to get it out of the room. And the fire alarm is only a couple feet away. That’s the only thing I found kinda weird.

I closed the window and didn't have any trouble with noise; the room came with a table fan. The bathrooms are a little dated and there there was one step up into the bathroom in my room. No problem, but something to keep in mind. I ate in the bar side of the restaurant and had a great vegetarian salad. The hotel is just across the harbor and had a great view.

Our fresh bed was full of sand on our first night. The door jamb was broken. When the staff came in to redo the bed, they took any change that was on the table even though we were staying another night. They did give us a bit of a deal on the room but I did not feel safe leaving my things in the room after that.
