Everything was a 10 out of 10. Service, pet friendly, cleanliness and such a nice room. Thank you. We we’re celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t be happier.

No AC. Room was 25 degrees. Left window open all night and turned off heat. Still 23 in the morning. Seemingly endless text messages from the hotel. Even after opting out. And at 8 am.

The room was clean and warm, nice view. The staff were pleasant, and they let us leave the car there for a couple of hours after we checked out. Nice coffee downstairs with coffee mate and caramel, very nice. I liked the Dove toiletries too.

The front desk staff are excellent. The rooms are basic, bathroom is very small which was not an issue for me but you had to close the door to access the bath/shower. The location is pretty ideal for walkability. There is no air conditioning but a good quality fan is provided. My biggest issue was with the room doors. When you close the door it bangs but doesn't close all the way, so you have to give it another push. Basically no way to close the door quietly, so I kept hearing other doors banging in the hallway as other guests were returning to their rooms. Never experienced this before, surely it's fixable? Would only recommend this hotel if you are not a light sleeper.

Clean and quiet room, comfortable bed, prompt delivery of items requested and lovely staff. They only clean your room, I think every three days unless you request it. Not a problem.

Staff was friendly and helpful. When I ran out of Keurig cups, they gave me a mound of them to make sure I didn’t run out. Right on the bay front, get to see the ships and boats coming and going. What didn’t make sense to me though, they have a fridge, kitchen sink, pots and pans, forks and spoons, and a nice oven/stove top, but there is no exhaust fan over the top of it. So whatever smoke or smells you’re gonna get whilst cooking, there is no way to get it out of the room. And the fire alarm is only a couple feet away. That’s the only thing I found kinda weird.

Room was great! Immaculately clean and bed extremely comfortable.... one thing we didn't realize was how noisy it might be, being right above the restaurant, but even having said that it was tolerable. Parking was free so that's always a plus.

Good experience with the check in, friendly staff at the reception. Fridge was leaking, response was good, but replacement fridge did not fit so was left sticking full out, was told this would be fix the next day, never was. Bathroom, old, some mold or dark spot on the walls, the other walls you can see drywall patches , not really inventing.

Hotel staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Hotel is in great location across from the harbour with lots of parking, never an issue finding a spot even on long weekend. Pool and hot tub looked very clean. Poop did not open until 10am which was disappointing. Hotel is very dated but hotel staff work very hard in keeping it clean and maintained. Would stay here again without hesitation

Loved this hotel. Easy walk to downtown. I would certainly stay here again. My only complaint is the potentially hazardous step up into the bathrooms in the rooms. Great location and fun bar/restaurant on site.

The staff and location of the hotel are on point, however the room we were assigned was a quite a departure from the depiction from the website. The room is dim, worn, and you can tell there is little attention to maintaining it. There isn't a full size stove like the one shown in the photos. The fridge is small. The room isn't equipped with air conditioning which is by today's standards a must. The room had a fan which worked well however wasn't cooling enough and was noisy to run all night at full strength. Having the window open was not a good option because the street noise is extremely loud. The bed were uncomfortable and very small. They are not suitable for two full grown people. I am 5'2". I understand it was my choice to select a two star hotel, however I figured that for $400/nt (with the website pictures in mind) we would have a better stay than what we got, needless to say we are quite disappointed.

The front desk staff are wonderful! I’ve stayed here on two occasions and both times they are exceptional. The hotel is in a great location walkable to everything on the inner harbour. The rooms are very clean and simply, nicely upgraded.

Perfect location. Can walk everywhere downtown. The room was basic and walls very thin (lots of noise from the halls at night), but the staff very friendly and helpful. I was worried at first about it not having a/c in the rooms, but it was fine. It doesn’t get hot in Victoria so doubt it is a concern for more stays.

Terrible beds...mattresses are worn and broken. Rooms are tiny and bathrooms even smaller. Shower in mini. You cant even close the door if someone is sitting on the toilet. TVs are old and tiny. Pool is misleading. Very tiny off the parking lot. Photos show the Grand Pacific hotel in the background, not this hotel.

For us it was a total revelation.We stay in Victoria several times every year even though the cost is becoming prohibitive. We have stayed in many of the larger and better known properties but the pool area, the bright lobby , the friendly staff and the great restaurant and lounge areas made our stay most enjoyable and we even invited friends over for a great breakfast on the day we left. And I must mention the great parking lot. Thank you for what we consider a 5 star stay!! Greg Peppler
