hotel location, space of the room, proximity to everything was so close by. Loved the pool, gym and hot tub. Perfect after a long walk through town. Staff were so accommodating.
Coffee supplies. Creamer curdled instantly when poured into the cup.

Enjoyed the sauna, pool and hot tub as well. Great amenities. Really enjoyed the service from our front desk check in hostess, she was great.

My mom and I were pleasantly surprised by our stay here. It was comfortable, quiet, renovated, and the pool was great. The best part was the friendly and knowledgable staff. We used the free driver service to get into town, and they were so timely and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

The eggs benny at the blue crab are not made in the traditional way. The ham is large and flat and the egg just slid off the plate twice! The croissants buns are difficult to cut and eat with the way it was layered. The sauce was ok, not great. The staff was excellent.
The Blue Crab restaurant needs a full makeover. Tired and dated. Take advantage of the view and level up the decor, tables and chairs. Staff was excellent.

The room was incredibly quiet, it had the overall feeling of being well-built; it wasn't drafty nor damp (given the location on the ocean) and it made the stay very comfortable. The decor felt modern and upscale. I appreciate that there wasn't carpet in the room. The staff were helpful in accommodating our over-sized vehicles. And the location is ideal, far enough from downtown to feel safe from street/vehicle crime but still central to the amazing amenities of the inner harbour.
I didn't find any printed in-room info on the hotel amenities. Also, upon check-in, I did overhear a guest arriving for a dinner reservation, only to hear from the front desk that the dining room wouldn't even be open until a half hour past their reservation time. I was a little surprised that the staff didn't try to figure out what the core misunderstand was behind this (to correct it) but they just sent the guest away.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, comfortable beds and pillows.
A little far for walking to city amenities but beautiful views and marina made up for it.

Harbour view!
Union strike ongoing. Limited services during booking and the stay.

The hotel itself was great — clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff who were working were kind and professional despite a difficult situation. You can tell it’s normally a wonderful place to stay, and under different circumstances we would have loved it.
We arrived to find that workers were on strike — something we were not informed of by Booking.com before our stay. Because of this, the restaurant was closed, there was no room service or breakfast, and crossing the picket line felt uncomfortable. We specifically booked this hotel for its amenities and dining, and would have made a different choice if we’d known. For nearly $400 per night, we feel we should have been informed and hope Booking.com will offer a partial refund for the unavailable services.

Great view of the boats and water planes taking off and landing. Very friendly barman

This is in a brilliant location. Close enough to walk to the CBD but away from the busiest area.
Not the fault of the hotel, but there was industrial action during our stay and therefore no services.

Lovely position
We planned to have dinner on the Saturday evening at the hotel but the bar staff and restaurant went on strike that day, which was very bad in our opinion- never seen that before and we’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, we were only there for 2 nights before travelling back to Vancouver so it kind of spoiled it for us as I personally wanted to try the restaurant following all the reviews I read before we travelled from he UK.

Fabulous view of the very active harbour and city. The room was large, clean and the the king size bed very comfortable. Unfortunately employees were on strike, therefore the restaurants were closed, however they managed to provide a continental breakfast with coffee, fruits and muffins.

It was a nicely renovated property. The rooms were very nice with modern finishes. My kids got a kick out of the bidet.
They have a fantastic shuttle service they offer to and from downtown for free. The driver Reid was fantastic and helpful. I suggest tipping of course- it is a service. We used it often when our kids were tired from walking as we had already rented bikes for 3 days and our kids didn’t want to bike anymore. It was also great to get to and from dinner instead of getting an Uber or Lift.
The pool is heated and is both indoors and out. There is a nice area by the pool to sit and see the marina. We took the pathway upstairs along the marina - there is a large chess set my kids enjoyed & the gardens are beautiful in the summer. We were there in late July.
There is a little Fisherman’s Wharf nearby with restaurants for more food options. It was a couple minute walk. It was less expensive than the hotel food and there are cute floating homes. There is also ice cream.
Nothing really. It’s a pretty great place for a family or just a getaway if I were to go back with my husband.

Location is very good
Staff was on strike , our room was never cleaned , services were minimal , Staff in charge were overwhelmed with frustrated guests
Promises made to credit our stay did not happen
this was to be a relaxing getaway for us & ended in disappointment

Given that a strike was going on, I must say that the employees who stepped into the vacant roles were wonderful. The accountant who checked us in was incredible and tired! I look forward to when both elevators are working that would certainly help with wait times. And I missed being able to eat the delicious food that your restaurant is known for. It is too bad that it was closed during out stay.

Loved the location. Downtown and Fisherman's Warf is walkable. It has nice walkways along the ocean with wonderful views. The manager amd staff was super nice. Had a great stay at the hotel
There was a strike going on and no housekeeping for 3 nights but the hotel made up with free light continental breakfast in the morning and also drinks and snacks for everyone available in the afternoon.

The location. The bed is comfortable. The bidets.
I used to really like this property. This stay wasn’t great. From a desk agent who wasn’t great through to a full on strike of hotel staff mid stay - interrupting any services such as housekeeping or restaurants. Our room had no furniture to sit on other than a single chair or the bed.

Location and the staff was excellent.
They were working on the elevator our whole stay. We took the stairs as the wait for the only remaining elevator was very very long. We had to carry our luggage down the stairs to get into the our car.

The view was spectacular! Everything you needed was within walking distance. The water taxis have a pick up/drop off right there. You have a Whale watching tour right below. The room was beautiful and clean.
Only one elevator was working during our 2 day stay. And on our final day we couldn’t get breakfast at their restaurant because there was a strike going on. They did provide a little continental breakfast but not what we wanted.

A bit outdated. Lifts being renovated. Threadbare carpets.

Room overlooked the busy harbour which was fun to watch! Seaplanes, water taxis and other vessels were all on the water!
They promised a birthday gift and it never happened.
The cost of the room was high.

The price of this hotel does not match its location or facilities at all. I booked it for only $100 less than the Fairmont Empress, but the difference was beyond significant. This is just an apartment that has been converted into a hotel.
The front desk staff, a Black gentlewoman, entered my name incorrectly and her attitude was not very welcoming. I couldn’t log into the Wi-Fi at all due to the name error.
I was stuck in the elevator for almost a minute — it stopped between floors, and when the doors opened, it was between a wall and the upper floor. It was terrifying. The elevator is extremely outdated and in poor condition
The seafood I had here was also quite disappointing and tasted terrible.
Honestly, the price should be at least half of what they’re charging now. Otherwise, apart from group tours, independent travelers like me would definitely not choose to stay here again.

Location
The air conditioning unit blows directly in the face of someone sleeping and can’t be adjusted, furthermore the thermostat controls it so it turns on and off all night. I had zero sleep hours.

The room was spacious and included a comfortable couch for sitting. We had booked a sea view, which was definitely worth it. The restaurant is highly recommended — the food was excellent and a real culinary highlight.

The staff was very accomodating.
THere could have been lunch at the restaurant - it's only open for breakfast and dinner.

Fabulous view over the harbor! Bathroom toilets were high-tech and wonderful. Others have mentioned noise issues from the float planes--the planes are there but they are only active during the day and do not impact sleeping at all. Staff was friendly, drinks were nice.
One of the two elevators was down for repair, not a big issue, but at prime time in the lobby, it got a bit backed up.
Additionally, the trash can in the lobby was overflowing both of the days we were there. It is literally across the room from the reception desk so it should not be a problem to see that it needs attention. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but the food was great.

Location was fantastic, right on the harbor with a small deck which was so nice at sunset. The linens were great, the amenities were wonderful: pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room, and a giant chess ♟️ game board. Excellent customer service and quiet. Restaurant was great. Highly recommend!
One elevator was broken and the other was slow slow slow.

Air Con in the room very noisy

Although the elevator was not operating to open at the 7th floor, the staff happily helped us by taking our items through the service elevator. We did walk the stairs at least one flight when arriving and leaving during our stay. The elevators and floors were confusing, especially when trying to go out to the parking structure. However, the safe beautiful location beside the water with lovely night lights on beautiful historical places was romantic and scenic. Very relaxing and peaceful with a clean, water view room!
Proximity to Ferry close to go to US.

Right by the marina, and a short drive to the ferry terminal.
Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to major sightseeing places by car.
My 5 year old loved the indoor/outdoor pool.
Had to pay for parking

Lovely location! The staff were courteous and helpful. Our room had a terrific view of the marina and surrounding area.
We were able to walk everywhere and also had the choice of a shuttle to take us downtown if we needed.
The beds were not very comfortable for us. I am relatively short and climbing in and out of the tub was a chore. Thankfully there were safety bars. My husband who is a foot taller had no issues. We really wish there was a shuttle available from the airport.
