The hotel is in the heart of Victoria and within walking distance of many sites to see, and the bed was very comfortable--we got a good night's sleep each night.
Room was not ready when we arrived so we were directed to the lounge with a "$50 credit" for the inconvenience, but we were unable to claim the credit (the bartender billed us in spite of us telling him of our situation and the desk clerk said she could not help us claim the credit when we checked out), the "harbor view" we paid extra for was only a 90-degree view of a small part of the harbor, the room was very small and the unheated bathroom tile floor was extremely cold and uncomfortable to walk/stand on.

We live locally and had always wanted to try it as its pretty famous (I use their spa a lot) but i've stayed in 3 star hotels with much better service.
The good:
- room was very clean & had a great view
- the hotel itself was beautiful
The bad:
- took over 90mins and 2 phone calls to get our room service delivered (which were drinks) - was also told they'd have to do a call back because they were too busy to talk to me
- we ordered 4 Guinness - paid $80 to have it delivered to our room as 4 cans (after waiting 90mins). i thought for that price at least they would be poured pints.
- i asked for a hot water bottle as the room took about 6 hrs to get warm with the high ceilings and they delivered water and a kettle to my room. When i explained what i actually wanted, the employee seemed very annoyed with me.
- for a 5 star hotel i would have at least expected little luxuries like complimentary slippers in our room & complimentary water in our room (there was nothing).
- when collecting our bags after check-out (we had left them in the holding room so we could explore) there was nobody manning the luggage room, we waited at the desk for 20mins before asking the reception staff to get our bags & again they were unimpressed as i assume it was not their job.
