This is one of the best locations to stay in Victoria. The rooms are sparkling clean, the staff is amazing, there is plenty of dedicated space to store bikes and the hotel is situated near the bike lane that takes you to the Galloping goose and E&N trails.

After taking a shower, the steam came out of the bathroom and set off the smoke alarm, which is located directly in front of the bathroom door.
I called the front desk right away to let them know it was a false alarm. They sent a bellman, but they still could not silence it, so it kept going for quite a while. It was very annoying, and it seemed like the staff working at the time were not properly trained on how to turn it off.
I also do not understand why the smoke alarm is installed right in front of the bathroom door. It would make more sense to move it farther into the bedroom so the shower steam does not keep setting it off.
