About this hotel

Welcome to the Victoria Waterfalls Hotel, your perfect home away from home. Located in the heart of Victoria, this condo offers a prime location with a wrap-around balcony where you can enjoy stunning city, ocean, and mountain views. Step outside and you’ll find restaurants, bars, attractions, and sights all within walking distance, making it easy to maximize your holiday.


The space
Located in the heart of Canada’s Garden City, you’re only minutes from the BC Legislature, Inner Harbour, Royal BC Museum, and many more attractions.

This fully furnished 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo on the 14th floor overlooks the Empress Hotel, offering breathtaking views of the city, ocean, and mountains. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, and a convertible Murphy bed comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests.

Guests have full access to the outdoor pool and hot tub, gym, and a lovely private garden.

We take cleaning and safety seriously. Our team follows strict COVID-19 protocols, including:

● Wearing masks and gloves during cleaning

● Extra sanitization of high-touch surfaces such as door knobs and remotes

● Temperature checks for cleaners prior to each cleaning


Other things to note

House Rules:

● REGISTRATION - To comply with the Hotel Guest Registration Act all guests must complete an online guest registration form prior to checkin.

● PARKING - Vehicles must be parked in the designated parking space only and must not be on or crossing the lines at the side of the space, or protruding into the driveway area. The maximum dimensions for any vehicle allowed in the parking garage are: Height 6 feet 8 inches; Length 17 feet; Width 8 feet 6 inches. If you are not sure of your designated parking spot, please contact your hotel host. All other parking spaces are reserved and any improperly parked or oversized vehicles are subject to being towed.

● NO SMOKING - There is to be no smoking, vaping or burning incense in the unit, on the balcony, or anywhere else in the complex (inside or out). There will be a $400 cleaning charge deducted from the security deposit for anyone violating this rule.

● NO PARTIES - There are to be no parties. To avoid parties the guests' names are to be provided at the time of booking and only these booked guests are allowed on the property, unless a written exception is granted by the host. The booked guests are not permitted to invite their friends or others onto the property without this written permission.

● QUIET TIME - You are required to be quiet and not make excessive noises between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

● BUILDING SECURITY - Do not allow anyone you don't know to follow you into the building or parking garage. All strangers must have their own key fob to enter. Security cameras are used in the common areas of the property. These cameras are used for safety and security, to verify guest count, and to enforce the rules (no smoking, no unauthorized parties or events, place trash in the garbage room only, etc). Your privacy is fully respected, and no cameras are placed in your unit.

● BE TIDY - Do not litter or create a mess in the lobby, hallways, elevators or other common areas. Trash is to be placed in the garbage room in the containers provided.

● BE NICE - You must not disturb or harass the permanent residents or other guests in the complex and you must be courteous and respectful to them at all times. Foul language and aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

● BUILDING RULES - The building management is very particular and the building complex rules are strictly enforced. You must obey all of these rules, including the pool rules, and all Strata Bylaws of the complex, or you could be subject to a $200 fine and/or the immediate termination of your rights to be in the building.

● YOU ARE A GUEST – You are not a tenant or resident; you are a guest. Guests are not permitted to move furniture, bicycles or similar large items into or out of the unit. The hotel staff are not excluded from possession and may enter to clean, inspect and repair the premises, or to ensure compliance with the rules. The legal right to stay in the unit terminates immediately if any rules have been violated.

● No Pets: Pets are not allowed.

● Only registered guests are permitted in the condo.

Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the property and fines.

The communication with the host was excellent. The appartment was in excellent condition and could not be better located in Victoria. The main section of the balcony is south oriented, wich we really have enjoyed on sunny days in january.

This is a lovely place to stay. We loved how close we were to the downtown core and the harbour. There is a lovely local coffee shop about a 5 minute walk from the building. The facility was very clean with beautiful big windows, giving us a lovely view of the city.

Our one week stay was great at this property! The downtown location has great access to everything we needed. The unit was clean and tidy. The views were amazing too! Keys are offsite so be prepared when you arrive and depart. We would stay again, our host was available if any issue came up!

The condo was in a great location, very central and in an easily walkable area. Great access to downtown Victoria and the harbour. It had all the amenities we needed for 4 people and it was clean. The condo is nicely laid out with some separation between the bedroom and the murphy bed in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was a lovely bonus on a sunny afternoon. There are lovely views of the sunset from the balcony too.
