We regret that we stayed. Not necessarily the hotel's fault, but our stay worked out very badly .

The elevator was not working which meant that my wife, who had extreme difficulty walking, had to walk up stairs in pain. The bed was so soft that it aggravated a herniated disc and now she needs spinal sugery.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A lovely room with a view. Didn't have time for breakfast as I booked an early shuttle. I did have a few minutes to have an orange juice and the breakfast looked very pleaseant.

I was very frustrated trying to use the tv. The front desk was helpful initially but I couldn't keep it going changing channels.

Close to airport, many restaurants and shopping centre nearby. Great staff that offered us 1 hour late check out for free to match our flight. Kitchen staff is super helpful.

Overall, I was happy with the stay at Comfort Hotel.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and bathroom well appointed. Linen and supplies were more than adequate. Location was quiet and airport shuttle went every half hour but best to check if you have to book a time. The receptionist on arrival was very helpful and she answered all my questions. The shuttle drivers to and from the airport were good drivers and helpful with passengers luggage.

The room was cold, bed linen insufficient for the temperature, and no blanket provided. I slept in clothes which was fine. I didn’t play with the temp controls as the solution I found was ok. The bedside alarm had been set by someone else and went off at midnight. The receptionist on departure was not overly cordial and ushered me out of empty room just off the foyer where I was waiting for airport shuttle. I couldn’t see why. There is no way to call the hotel to arrange shuttle (as instructed on the booking info) from the airport as the hotel is not yet listed on the shuttle phone station at Door 16. An airport employee lent me his phone to call. This may be remedied in the future.

Exceeded expectations

All rooms recently renovated in contemporary greys with stone counters, new carpets, soft beds, comfy bedding. Coffee and mini fridge in room. Full buffet breakfast available from 6:30 am and free airport shuttle.

Nickname fiasco

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The way we were treated upon arrival was less than satisfactory. Even after showing our email with our confirmation and our ID, the desk clerk said he didn't have a reservation in our name. After what seemed like ages, we realized that our reservation was under Mike and the ID said Michael. We spent far too long being told we did not have a room.

Stressful experience with shuttle.

Desk chair in room- seat was all scratched, facility run down in places, shuttle was half hour late then picked up more passengers on way to airport so was too late to check my bag . Manager had told me night before that taking that shuttle would get me to the airport in plenty of time. Day staff said shuttle is always late.

Stay if you have to, not if because you want to.

Comfiest bed, really large and lots of big fluffy pillows.

Staff were uninterested, inattentive and not friendly. Staff gave me directions to a mall that had shut down…!! Luckily someone on the street helped redirect me to a pharmacy but that was a nightmare. Expensive for what it is and location is very run down. Chose to stay during the AirCanada strikes so had very limited options.
