Topik the manager, met us on the beach and organised for all the guests and luggage to be transported to the villa by taxi; and gave us a full briefing on arrival. The villa is a new build and is beautifully decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped, including dishwasher & washing machine. Fans and Aircon in every room. The pool is a delight on those hot humid afternoons. Large screen TV's and games & books to keep the kids/adults busy if the weather is bad. We had a very enjoyable relaxing time, and hope to return in the near future.

On the island itself the rubbish collection could be better, but I guess that's the same for the whole of Bali. Being an island and living amongst the locals one has to expect certain things e.g. chickens, lots of scooters, constant smell of incense, etc.

Villa Alam is beautiful and was perfect for our group of three couples. We booked the villa for a week and had a very comfortable stay. The facilities were high quality and well thought out. It has all the luxuries that you need, and everything is brand new. We especially loved the ensuite bathrooms with open air roofs above the shower. The main bathroom is beautiful, and it was very relaxing and unique experience to take a bath or a shower whilst it was raining outside. We used the swimming pool frequently and enjoyed relaxing in the pool with a cold drink. The villa is conveniently placed making it and easy walk to the beach area and to the restaurants in the main street. The Villa manager, Topic was amazing and very responsive! He was extremely helpful with organising activities and local recommendations, like booking snorkelling trips, arranging a taxi to take us around the island and recommendations for great restaurants. We will definitely come back with our family to stay at Villa Alam again.
