Tarci Bungalows Lembongan

Located right on the beach. We had fantastic views. Room had air con and mini fridge. Good entertainment in the bar. Rooms are extremely quiet so it was peaceful and relaxing at night. You would be hard pressed to find a property anywhere in the world located right on the beach at $50 a night. Nice little pool that was cool and refreshing. No TV but the wifi was good and you could watch youtube etc on tablet/phone if you desired. Staff were pleasant.

Room had a very strong damp odour however no leaks or mould was apparent. The room wooden doors and the toilet door would not close due to expanded wood. I found out why the toilet door was in this condition as the shower head points straight at the door, not to the ground as you would expect. The air conditioning water condenser hose goes through the roof and empties onto the floor in the toilet. The food was hit n miss. Only one tasty meal, the seafood curry. Other meals were just ok. If you have pre paid for Breakfast, it is very average with limited choice. The pool could do with a handrail. The Pictures on Booking.com show the refreshed Bungalows. The rooms we were given need a refresh.

The location and staff are great. The accommodation is a bit tired but it’s awesome value for money and you really only need a bed.

The location is great, right on the beach. The beds were comfortable.

We booked and paid for a room for 3 people with breakfast but when we arrived we were told we could only have breakfast included for two people. It was weird and pretty annoying and I tried to speak to the manager on duty about it but he wasn’t interested. The rooms are very dark and I had to ask to have quite a lot of insect poo (I think?) to be cleaned off the wall where my daughter was sleeping.
