Beautiful bungalows

Really beautiful rooms, great air con, and super helpful manager Joni!

There were a few power cuts which was frustrating, but not the fault of the property and Joni was really on it with updates and communicating with the electricity provider.

Relaxing holiday and the service at Gecko was awesome.

Gecko was peaceful and the pool was cold. Although there is no meals available there are plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance. Joni has an excellent warung just up the road. You can hire scooters and taxi services from the accomodation.

The beach directly across the road isn’t great for swimming. But there are other nice places to swim close by.

Great location, friendly staff and tidy Villa.

The villa was exceptional, tidy and has everything you need. Staff were amazing and very welcoming. We were able to hire a bike through the villa which was great. Highly recommend!

Lovely villas, would have been a even more relaxing stay without the constant noise of hammers

Loved the little huts and how there were only 5 villas - good location only a short walk to the beach & restaurants

Total bliss!

We had a beautiful stay at Gecko Villas, Joni the host was lovely and very hospitable. He arranged us for motorbike hire and snorkelling tour. He also arranged someone to collect us in a buggy from the Ferry. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Not what you would expect for the high rating

The place is average. Not sure how it got such a high rating. The rooms have a funny smell. One day there was rat poo. Since its a wooden bungalow you can hear everything which means you will be up at 6 am. The water pressure is a bit funny like its pumping, but still more than enough. No breakfast included. Infront of the hotel is quite a mess. There is an old rundown place and garbage and plastic pipes from the street. We roughly spent the same amount per night on all accommodations and this one was the worst even thought it had the highest rating.

Great place to stay. Location was great. Bungalow was large and bathroom too. Very clean. Pool area was lovely. Really peaceful place to stay. Joni the owner was wonderful and helped with any questions we had or anything we needed.

I enjoyed my stay immensely. Joni was an excellent host who made sure our stay was as comfortable and effortless as possible. The facilities were great, rooms were in very good condition and I could not be more satisfied with my experience. 10/10, will visit again if I get a chance to come back to Nusa Lembongan some day.

tropical paradise wooden huts

exceptionally friendly manager Joni, and the cleaning maintenance staff. Joni helped us organise everything including Manta snorkelling, Sanur boat, transfers etc rented scooters at the property for 80,000 a day and Joni even topped our fuel up. quiet location lovely wooden hut style small but clean pool only 5 huts, we were the only couple there (until our friends joined us) excellent wifi - smart TV including Netflix

it’s at the far end of jungubatu near the mangrove forest, so you definitely need a bike to access most bits (which didn’t bother us) don’t be shocked by the front of the property!

Exceptional

We had a really great time staying here! It may be a bit out of the way, but everything is walking distance and it's worth it to get away from the crowds and the never ending "do you want scooter? Taxi? Taxi?" There's heaps of restaurants in either direction. The ocean is just a skip and a step out in front. Don't let the entrance fool you, it's paradise behind and the staff work really hard to keep the place clean and us happy. We had an issue with our AC and Martin, the manager jumped at the opportunity to help us out and set us up. Comfortable beds, great swimming pool, altogether quite glamorous.

Disappointing

The room had no tv no hotwater and sometimes no water at all. The bangalow needs a springclean, taps need to be replaced , staff were only there in the morning so if we needed anything we would have to contact Martin who is very busy running his restaurant.

Lovely relaxing bungalows and a great pool!

Lovely, simple but comfortable bungalows with a nice deep and cold pool. Very comfortable beds and good aircon/ceiling fans. Relaxing quiet part of town near some great little local eateries. Excellent helpful staff and you can rent scooters directly through them too.

Was good to be in a quiet area but tradeoff was a bit of a walk to “town” to find ATMs etc. Easy enough if you rent scooters.

If you are heading to Lembongan I would highly recommend gecko bungalows. Excellent location next to restaurants, bars and beaches. Shipwrecks surf break is just around the corner! Matin the owner is very accomodating to all requests. Cannot fault Gecko bungalows

Owners are amazing people with a wealth of information about all aspects of Nusa Lembongan and surrounding islands , combined with friendly staff and a laid back ambience. Got my vote for sure.

The only thing I didn't like about Gecko Bungalows was checking out!

Teleurstellend verblijf met niet behulpzaam personeel

- het zwembad - leuk ingerichte huisjes - zeer vroege checkin was mogelijk - fijne bedden en douche

- het personeel kon erg slecht Engels - we kregen een slechte scooter - personeel was niet erg behulpzaam toen er een rat in onze kamer zat - ze waren de hele dag aan het verbouwen en we waren hier niet voor gewaarschuwd. Bij check-out konden we niet eens meer door de uitgang lopen omdat het hier vol lag met bouwmateriaal. Ze hielpen niet. - geen ontbijt beschikbaar

Tutto molto bello

Fino ad ora il posto più bello in cui sono stata durante il mio viaggio in Indonesia, bungalow spazioso e dotato di tutto il necessario: letto ampio e comodo, frigo e minibar, dispenser di acqua, saponi e repellente per insetti. Il giardino è molto curato e lo staff è gentile e disponibile, Joni è pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aber definitiv ausbaufähig

Die Bungalos sind sehr schön und selbst sehr sauber. Kleiner TV und großer Kühlschrank wenn nötig :) Anlage ist klein aber fein. Man ist sehr schnell auf der „Hauptstraße“. Joni und sein Teams sind super

- Blut am Strandhandtuch gehabt und erst einen Tag später ein neues bekommen, da niemand da war - Bungalows sind leider sehr hellhörig, sollte vorher bewusst sein bevor man bucht, daher weise ich nochmal gesondert darauf hin, da die Tierwelt ab 5 Uhr gut Stimmung macht - Leider (und dafür kann der Betreiber halt gar nichts) ist vor der Tür ein baufälliger Pool, als auch am Strand gegenüber eine Baustelle der Regierungen mit langen schwarzen Rohren, die da wohl seit einem Jahr liegen und niemand beginnt mit dem Bau
