Nice but uncomfortable

Beach was lovely and amazing staff. This hotel has the potential to be absolutely amazing with (in my opinion) better management in place to take care of all the little things that could make it near perfect

Couldn’t swim in the sea as so many rocks and stakes sticking up it was dangerous with no warning signs. No lift. Bed was so hard, both me and my wife got hip pain. Staff gave us two toppers and two extra duvet to sleep on and offered another room but bed was the same. Swimming pool was over chlorinated.

Nothing. The manager is a complete and utterly incapable worthless fool.

The private villa was a box. The daybed was soaking wet on arrival as well as nearly completely inaccessible. Ypu had to climb out of the deep end to get to it or dodge the spikey thorns on the overgrown boganvillia, or walk on the super slippery edge of the tiles The room was tiny and the bathroom was completely outdated. It even had a horrible green shower curtain and a mixture of tiles that really are poor taste. What resort has a shower curtain? The pool was warmer than the shower hot water which took a bit of time to work out that the cold water marked blue was actually the hot side which wasn't capable of getting hot. The place is an ancient run down not even 1 star property. The staff we friendly with the manager breathing down their necks. The food was limited and basic. Scrambled eggs like soup and toaster took 5 attempts. The fruit juice was like cordial or concentrated sugar syrup. The prices over the top for drinks. The bar fridge couldnt keep ice or drinks cold not to forget the amount of noise it made as well as the rattling and hissing from the air conditioning which made the room smell musty. The taxi had no suspension and was clapped out. For a big place they really had nothing to offer. The place was near empty yet the service was slow and the phone in the room didn't work. When brought to managers attention he didn't care. We left early without any refund which we asked to be considered or at least a partial refund. Our previous hotel gave an instant full refund because of construction work going on, yet because we weren't happy with the place we asked and were treated like criminals by a dodgy useless manager who insisted that their policy is totally non refundable. The fridge and hissing air con were as bad as the construction noise which was no problem for that manager to do straight away. Go anywhere but there. A shared hostel would have been a better pick than that dump.

Great property and great location!

The location is incredible. The beach access is expansive. The pool area is big and sprawling. Both the beach and pool were well maintained and very clean. We stayed in a pool villa and that was very nice. Service was lovely and attentive. When the island lost power for a few hours do to a storm, the hotel generator was amazing. We had light, food, WiFi, and air conditioning. That alone is worth it.

The shower is inches from the toilet was a little cramped. The tub is separate and very nice. The floor could have been cleaner in the room. It was a bit dirty and gritty. I wiped with a clean towel.

Location, beautiful beach side setting, beautiful swim pools, excellent staff service, great restaurant.

The rooms were very tired. Needs renovation/updating. Shower curtains instead of screens, air-conditioning not working too well, no hot water most of the time. Insect spray in rooms is overpowering and gave me a sore throat.

The property was fantastic, this is the 2nd time have have stayed and it did not disappoint. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and I have an beach view room and it was extremely clean and comfortable 🤩

A fairly minor thing, the room the hotel uses for their massages was not as good as it could be, it was very plain and almost like a hospital room with a pull around curtain. They would be better served to use one of their garden view room and make it a little more welcoming. In saying that the massage itself was fantastic 🤩

Beautiful property right on thebeach and the new year party was the best we had in a long time , icing on the cake was fireworks.

Food could have been better, especially the breakfast had really limited options and quality was not upto the mark. When we compared with the kind of food in terms of variety and quality in the nearby resorts and cafes there was a very big difference.

Only the location. And the staff was kind, but the apartments we go were full of issues

They moved us to an apartment after someone probably complained so they gave us that room and was really annoying. A continuous noise during the night kept us awake. They moved to another one, here worst: water flush broken, shower broken, Fornitures dirty, Internet absent.. $50 for a breakfast totally unfurnished… (this external, bought directly to the reception) I was expecting a refund as I wasted my stay , even is the agent tried to solve the issue unfortunately we could not accept a similar situation If apartment are not ready don’t give them away. If you have to repair do it, don’t wait for client to complain only because you want to make 160$ more. And btw $160 for this is a scam… I also got possed with booking that promised a token as refund and they gave me $19… what should I do with that?

We’’’ Be back!

I was initially attracted because of its location and this certainly did not disappoint. I had read reviews that were quite damning of the property so we went in sceptical but quickly came to the realisation that this place was perfect for us. The rooms were clean and spacious and modern looking, the bathrooms the same with fantastic air conditioning. The pools were clean, yes a little warm but they sit in the baking sun all day, they were large enough for us to enjoy a dip. The beach is a coral beach so you do need footwear and it is very shallow for a long way but once again we could easily have a dip, if we wanted a plunge a short walk further along took care of that. The buffet breakfast was a typical Balinese buffet, no avocado on toast or Açai bowls but I wasn’t expecting that and if I really wanted one I could walk up the street for one.

The warm water was slow to come in the showers but it was there.

I may as well have slept on the floor. The bed was the worst hotel bed I have ever slept in. We booked a villa , my wife myself and my 8 year old son. There was a pull out bed under ours they would not make the bed up unless we paid $50 dollars a night on top of what we had already paid.

Staff Putra and Suber in the restaurant/pool area are a credit to the company. So lovely they really made our stay. Thankyou to them. The beach area is really nice. Our room had great views.

A bit dated for the price. Needs a bit of renovation. Safe didn’t work. Shower clogged up after first use. The shuttle I booked didn’t arrive to pick us up. Air conditioning didn’t work very well. My main disappointment was that I think the actual beach (water) photos are photoshopped. The beach never looked like that and was unswimable.

We loved the fact of having a private Villa with private pool, would not have wanted a room upstairs. Beach access was great, staff were all fantastic

The coffee and the breakfast could do with some work, The coffee was only ok from one lady otherwise it was bad Cups were too small for coffee at Resturant and in rooms. The aircon in our room pv5 was not that good. The bar fridge was not that cold and ice box clogged up with ice and no door.

1. Unbearable Noise: The hotel continuously played loud music in the yard from dinner time till 10 pm even when there were no guests outside and no events taking place. The room had absolutely no soundproofing, making it impossible to rest or sleep. When I contacted the reception, they informed me that the hotel has a “daily music policy” and could not do anything about it. This policy is not mentioned anywhere on Booking.com, and I would have never booked the hotel — especially with a child — had I known about it. 2. Poor Water Quality and Facilities: The water in the shower was salty and left my skin sticky. The water pressure was extremely low, and the water was not even warm enough for a proper shower. 3. Lack of Soundproofing and Comfort: There was a large gap under the room door, allowing every sound from the corridor and nearby rooms to come through. It felt as though people were walking and talking directly inside our room. This made it impossible to relax or sleep. 4. Misleading Photos and Zero Service: The actual room condition was very basic and old, completely different from the fresh, modern appearance shown in photos on Booking.com. The overall service level was nonexistent.

Nice stay in Nusa Lembongan

Fantastic view from beach front side (2nd floor), nice clean room, good breakfast choice, friendly staff and generally good services. There are also shops, spa, rentals, tours, restaurants in walking distance. All in all very happy about the choice.

The beach is wonderful to watch, sunbathe and relax but not ideal for a swim, due to tides, hard corals. There is no elevator in the hotel, guests need to use the stairs.

Would not stay again

The large sandy area was great with the view of the ocean. The choice of 2 pools was great as you could choose for a noisier or quieter location to chill out and swim.

The shower ran cold 90% of the time you were in it, the buffet breakfast was very basic and wasn’t that good to be honest. The staff didn’t really seem to want to help or provide service eg no one offering poolside drinks or food. Although some upgrades have taken place there is a lot more that needs to be done for it to be a 4star resort.
