The Shacks at Sandy Bay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shacks Sandy Bay!! The staff were amazing and made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect . Our villa was perfectly appointed with all the finest details taken care of. The location is quiet and Sandy Bay is 100m away. Its our 5th visit to Nusa Lembongan and if you enjoy the peace and quiet and a little bit of luxury then this is the perfect place.

Shack walls are very thin - can hear everything in the neighbouring shack!

The shacks are cute with outside bathroom, little pool was good to relax. The team at the Shacks are amazing and do whatever they can.

The beach club restaurant and pool where you eat isn’t connected to the shacks, you need to walk down the hill, only about 200m walk but the beach club clearly isn’t part of the The Shacks. At the beach club the tables are always reserved so even though as guests you didn’t get a pool side seat or table. We went to breakfast and were told even though completely empty we had to be out in an hour. We arrived Friday and asked to book into yoga which is on three days a week, no yoga instructor available. The taxi is easy to get but it takes 10-15 mins and cost about $15 each way. The beach club service wasn’t good, the food not great, the costs on the higher side. Kind of wrecks the shacks experience unfortunately.

The pool near reception was a bit tired with no facilities near - all food and drink comes from the Beach Club. The location is ok but not close to anything if you want to explore you need to get a scooter or hire a taxi
