Absolutely stunning location with incredible view of the blue lagoon. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us they made us feel so welcome saying hello every morning we came down the breakfast, we felt really at home! The food and drinks at the restaurant was very good, they carried out our special request one night (for my birthday dinner) to make a vegan birthday cake which was very tasty! I loved this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We booked at sea view room and what we didn’t realise was that the ocean waves crashing against the rocks 24/7 was so loud! We couldn’t sleep properly and they are also renovating the pool (Jan 2026) so there is noisey building work going on which also disturbed us so we asked to swap rooms which they did with no problem, the hotel were really apologetic and had no issues with us wanting to change our room. Our next room was so peaceful and quiet we had the best nights sleep! And the only other criticism I have is there are a few maintenance bits that need redecorating like the wooden slats on our decking and the odd tile chip but otherwise the slight rustic-ness adds to its charm!

Amazing Location. Lovely Staff Next level

The staff were friendly and very helpful, the location very impressive. There were lots of turtles in the cove everyday to see at breakfast time. The food was delicious. Easy access to scooters and shop for essentials. The private pool was great when you needed to chill... We will be back !!

The most incredible views, very clean facilities, food and staff amazing.

We splashed out for our stay here, compared to other more basic stays around Bali, so this place really stood out. Great aircon and wifi, room was incredible with own pool, seperate room for this kids, view from our deck was superb out over the lagoon. Watched the best sunsets. The food was delicious and well priced we felt (with 10% discount). Great service and the staff were so friendly and welcoming the whole trip.

Not worth the money. Better, cheaper places to stay.

The blue lagoon is stunningly beautiful. The breakfast (included in the price) was good with great coffee.

Exceptionally run down and needs a lot of maintenance. Walls are damp, mould everywhere, cracks, exposed electrical wiring, door locks sticky and the list goes on. Staff are friendly but not attentive. This is very unfortunate, as this is one of the more expensive resorts on the island, but in a poor condition.

There was metal in one of the meals. I ate and nearly swallowed a piece of sharp lead/steel that could’ve cut my internal organs. The bathroom smelt like toilet and every time you open the door to the villa, it had a smell of bathroom stale water and toilet water. It got so bad that the plumber had to come and replace the bathroom sink .

Luxurious, Romantic and best place we stayed in our honeymoon.

On the pricey side, but it was HEAVENLY. We took the villa madudu with ocean view and it was the most romantic place we have ever been. - A private pool with clean water. - An exclusive view of the blue lagoon. - Sleeping to the sounds of crashing waves. - Amazing restaurant with good food and spectacular view. (If you pay attention you can spot many sea turtles) - Clean and spacious bathroom. Room service is 24 hours and are very fast and polite.

The only downside is that its impossible to find food after maybe 9PM. The hotel restaurant closes as well as most of the restaurants on Ceningan island, also the road next to the hotel is very dark. my advice would be to buy some snacks from the nearby mart if you get hungry in the evening like I do. And to be honest they stated this when checking us in.

Great location but underwhelmed by the villas.

The location is great, the restaurant good and the main pool is good but limited space when busy. The staff were lovely.

The villas are very tired and need repair work done. Our group had 2 villas and one had an extremely bad smell. Our decking around the pool needed to be repaired. Whilst the pool was a very generous size it results in a small villa with nowhere to sit inside other than the bed if the weather was poor. There are thoughtful aspects such as lights on the bed head but there is no room for bedside tables to place things close by. It was mainly the poor maintenance of the villas and smell that resulted in a disappointing stay.

Amazing Location - Unique Experience

We stayed two nights in a private two bedroom villa. We loved having our own private pool but also access to the beautiful infinity pool, jacuzzi and bar/restaurant facilities. The villas were charming and the location at Blue Lagoon was spectacular. The service was excellent and it was great being picked up and dropped off at the yellow bridge by the resort shuttle taxi. I highly recommend having the experience of staying at Blue Lagoon Avia Villas on Nusa Chenigan Island, I have never experienced such a location. The location for breakfast was amazing at the resort's restaurant. Such an incredible view! Hire a scooter to get around the island and stop off at various places including Cenigan Cliffs. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond in assisting me with a particular matter.

The location is sensational! You are definitely paying for the location here. The staff are amazing but the villas are quite dated.

Villa is quite dated and it’s all just a bit not quite there considering what you pay. Bed isn’t overly comfortable and linens aren’t crisp and clean (light staining), Bathrooms smell like sewerage.. nothing to Do with the amazing staff, it’s just old and a bit run down.

Great!

The view is incredible. Staff were super lovely and keen to help. The breakfast was also a standout. Excellent quality and quantity of food and coffee.

The only gripe was a higher quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner for the price of the property would be good. It didn’t bother us as we had ear plugs to sleep with but that beautiful lagoon can be noisy so bring some if you are a light sleeper. Don’t let it put you off though as the view is 👌🏼

Location and view from main pool/bar/restaurant was awesome. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Ease of access and secludedness whilst only a short stroll to other beach side bars, and surfing. Importantly far enough away from the hustle and madness of other areas.

Even though designed for couples, the rooms were a bit small as well as the mini-fridge. TV didn't work. Door security was poor. Needing 3 keys to carry around and 2 to get into our villa is something they should change.

Lovely stay for a few nights of private luxury.

The service! Staff were so lovely, every staff member you passed greeted you, housekeeping was twice a day which was lovely. Went above and beyond. Our villa was nice and private felt very comfortable. View from the restaurant was impeccable, every morning turtles would be visible. Room service was so convenient, food was bit expensive than at most places but still good value. Just FYI, the villas in general don’t have a view - only the couple in the official photos on here.

For us, it was very isolated, nothing to do at all- needed a scooter to head over to Lembongan but hotel were great and provide shuttles to the yellow bridge many times a day. Very dated also, doors wouldn’t shut but not a problem for us.

Food was good, everything else was bad

The food was delicious

The villa isn’t fully private which was a problem for my wife and I, as we’re a Muslim couple and my wife wears a headscarf. We were able to see our neighbours so we had to keep the blinds shut at all times. Insects are inside the villa itself, making it really uncomfortable to sleep in. The villa was relatively dated, the windows and doors wouldn’t shut properly. At some point one of the lights were flickering really fast on and off while we were sleeping, though the staff did rectify this problem relatively quickly. The pool was cold, had dead insects in them, and had a mini-alligator kind of animal in it (which again shoutout to the staff, they dealt with it promptly). Bathroom is partially outdoor, so many bugs can find their way in. We encountered a pretty big cockroach here on our second night

Great location, beautiful view, nice staff

The villa was lovely, but unfortunately right next to a group of very noisy guests who were singing loudly, drinking, and causing a disturbance well past the 10 pm quiet time. Despite informing the hotel (multiple times), the noise didn’t stop until around 1 am. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better management — staff should be proactively checking the villas at night, not waiting for repeated complaints before taking action. This really impacted the quality of our stay.

Loved everything about the resort and the hosts

The service, the food at the hotel, the location and the turtles that are protected and you can watch whilst you’re having your breakfast or lunch. A beautiful spot minutes walk to some other lovely restaurants and surf point locations, secret beach. A supermarket and lovely spa that was professional and clean just across the road. Very relaxing and lovely holiday destination. Shuttle buses to take you to other locations on Nusa Cenengan or to the yellow to head over to explore Nusa Lambongan the choice is your swimming with the Manta Ray’s and more turtles was also a highlight booked at the resort

Location is amazing. Staff were the best we experienced while in Indonesia. The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful pools.

Would formally say we disliked anything. The only thing is that I would encourage people to remember it’s an island and some of the facilities are a little more tired than the main land.

The location of the property is fantastic, we had a cliff top ocean view villa with amazing views of the ocean. The staff are extremely friendly and a great support for local knowledge.

Unfortunately the servicing of our room dropped away a little during ceremony time when a lot of the regular staff weren’t there…. not a big problem and definitely will not deter us from staying here again.

Superb staff but villa did not meet expectation

The pool was good. Shower pressure was also good.

Room was dirty and so was the bathroom. The daily room services continuously missed replacing towels and toiletries and had to be reminded... the staff were SUPER lovely however. Very small room, air conditioner was placed in the worst spot. Lots of ant issues, even on the bed.
