Haven of piece and.quiet

A lovely quiet cottage in a good.location Easy for perth and Dundee attractions. Being dog friendly is an essential thing for us. Only problem ( which is nothing to do with the host.or property) is that not everything in the area is open.on a Mon, Tues or Wed. So eating out has to be planned. But love it and as a rest cure it was 100% successful

No real drawbacks. You do have to park on the main rd which is about 50yds away but you can unload

Highly recommend this cottage

The cottage is lovely just what we needed in a lovely little village, the owners even left a bag of treats for our dog and a pack of abernethy biscuits for us which was amazing. Could not fault the cottage or owners at all.

Perfect stay-cation

Its ideally located for great walks, both on the door step and a short drive away. The cottage is very well equipped and it also has everything you need on the door step. Linda the host is lovely too. This place is perfect for a long or short trip, we did 2 nights and wished we could of stayed longer as it really does feel like home from home.

Superb

Gorgeous cottage. The owners have put a lot of thought into the place. Very well equipped. Would love to visit again when we have more time to see the area etc. This was booked as a base for us attending a wedding and certainly a much cheaper option than paying for hotels. Great value.

The lighting was very dull everywhere. We were there for a wedding and trying to do makeup etc was difficult. A full length mirror on a wall would have been very useful too. Shower over bath is not very powerful.

Long weekend stay

Quaint period cottage with great facilities. During our stay the local eatery was closed but brilliant functional stocked kitchen meant no issues preparing meals. Linda went above and beyond on service after leaving some items there. Abernethy is a lovely village with plenty of walks and historic monuments nearby. Oh yes, have still to taste my gin and plum clootie dumpling from Clootie McToots that are hand cooked and based a short walk from the cottage.

Superb

The cottage was beautiful so cosy only there for 2 nights wish it was more so didn't really see much but what we did was beautiful Linda was very friendly and welcoming, and just a message away if you needed anything or just to ask a question.We had our 5 year old son with as and there was loads of board games and DVDs to keep him entertained. Would definitely recommend this place for a break away from it all so peaceful and quite will be booking again at some point.
