There were a few cobwebs inside. The hoover provided was not powerful enough. The back of the property could do with some solar or motion-activated lighting, as it is very dark, and the log steps down to the gravel pathway are slippery when wet. The boiler was showing a fault on the last day, but the radiators and hot water were working.

The location was wonderful. There is nothing like being able to walk out of your front door onto a wide lawn with a view of the mountains and a beautiful river gently flowing by, no sound of traffic, nothing but tranquil sounds of life in the countryside. Ideally located for walking, exploring (by car) the beauty of Perthshire, the Cairngorms and Speyside.
The kitchen could have done with a larger frying pan and the knives needed sharpening.

Ein unglaublich schönes, sauberes gut ausgestattetes Cottage am Fluss. Die Nähe zu Pitlochry ist super und man fühlt sich hier vom ersten Moment an zu Hause.

Wenn man im Obergeschoss gegangen ist, hört man das unten sehr. Ist aber nicht weiter schlimm

Excellent location on the banks of the River Tay. Very peaceful but still conveniently located close to Pitlochry for visits, shopping, restaurants etc.
Couldn't fault anything.
