Great little lodge with the odd niggle

Great little lodge. Has everything you need for a short or long stay

Arrived and had no clue which lodge we were in as we didn't get an email telling us any details. Keys are locked but the code I was given was wrong. Luckily the site manager came and unlocked it. The lodge fridge seemed to struggle in the heat. Throughout the day it would get up to 10°c and ruining some of our food.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Tracy the owner was very helpful and even though we didn’t meet her we spoke to her on the phone. It was situated in a really nice park in the lovely little village of Dunning. We would be happy to return for another visit.

The kitchen area was lovely and the bedrooms were also really nice, I couldn’t believe there was a bath in the master bedroom and a big double shower in the other bathroom.

I haven’t got a bad word to say about the property.

this was fantastic from the moment we arrived so home from home had everything anyone could ever want we were at rewind festival and will be booking again nk year was just fabulous x

Superb

It was a very comfortable lodge and we were made to feel welcome. We had a personal issue on the first day and were unable to get there, but the host offered an extra night at the end of our stay. The park was quiet, clean and felt secure. It was close to lots of sightseeing opportunities.

We weren't told in advance that the washing machine wasn't working.

Lovely cabin with well furnished lounge and kitchen. Very clean and didn't really need to bring anything as well supplies extras. Nice touch with bottle of wine waiting on arrival

Recommended place to stay

What a lovely large fully equipped large modern large lodge with 2 bed grwar value for money. . Bonus of 2 shower rooms (one shower over a bath) . Little thoughtful touches - complimentary bottle of wine, new toothbrush if you forget to bring yours (which my husband did!) Any questions and the owners were to hand to help (also Park Manger was helpful too). Local village was only 5 minutes drive away. Clean and modern Lodge highly recommended.

we loved everything about the lodge. it felt homely and had everything we needed. 2 showers, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, TV and a sitting room, parking and even a complimentary bottle of wine.

Lovely remote, peaceful lodge

The lodge was extremely clean and well maintained with extra added touches like flowers etc that made it homely. Very peaceful and friendly park. The onsite park manager was very helpful and assisted with anything we needed. The location is quite remote but there is a lovely village with a shop and a pub about a mile away. There is also a town a bit further out where you can get take away etc. Would highly recommend Jackson Lodge.

Fantastic relaxed weekend.

The lodge was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It also had everything you could need and more. Everyone on the site was very friendly and the staff were very helpful. We felt very welcomed and at home here. The location was also ideal. We were very happy with our stay and cannot wait to return.

Goede locatie die dichtbij bezienswaardigheden ligt.

De locatie was uitstekend. Op korte afstand van allerlei bezienswaardigheden. Het plaatsje had een kleine supermarkt met alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Verder waren we weg van de plaatselijke pub The Kirkstyle inn, heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs waar ook de kinderen en de hond meer dan welkom waren. Alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben was in het huisje aanwezig.

We vonden nog etensresten in de afwasborstel, deze hebben we uiteraard niet gebruikt. Ook stonden er overal in het huisje luchtverfrissers die een erg overheersende geur verspreiden door het huisje.
