We used this house for proper sleep and repacking after longer hike - perfect. Quiet area, nice garden, shops in walking distance, nice kitchen, good price ratio

An ideal base to explore. The house is incredibly well kept and maintained throughout. Kitchen is well equipped should you want to cook, bedrooms are of a good size and the bathroom is nicely done. Decent size garden which was great as we had our dogs with us although best not to let off a lead due to the front gates and smaller sized fence towards the back (we have larger dogs). The host was incredibly attentive, responds to messages quickly and gave plenty of info. Would definitely stay here again.
This isn’t what I didn’t like but more a suggestion…when check in is 6pm (I know this could change with prior discussions), it may be a good idea to have a light up number sign on the front of the house. Trying to find the house number in the dark when the house is set back from the road a little can be tricky.

I loved everything about this place. It’s so cozy that it felt like home, for real. The owner was super kind and helpful, I will definitely book this place for my next trip to Scotland
