Het huis is prachtig gerenoveerd, comfortabel, het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf inclusief perfecte keukenapparatuur, prima douche, goede bedden en een host die helder communiceert.
In het huis viel níets tegen, zelf zou ik het niet kiezen voor een langer verblijf omdat ik de locatie niet aantrekkelijk vind, maar de route naar het vliegveld was prima, zelfs in de dukke spits.

The house is well-equipped in terms of amenities. Cowdenbeath is a good base for visiting the small towns along the northern Firth of Forth, Stirling and Doune Castle, Dunfermline, and Edinburgh, as well as various other historical sights and locations in the area—or simply for enjoying the fertile, beautiful countryside. The rooms are clean and functionally furnished, and the small bathroom is modern. Everything in the house was very clean and well-maintained. Street parking is no problem and is preferable, as the driveway to the property is very narrow for modern cars. Communication with the friendly owner went very smoothly; the key was in a lockbox by the back door. A folder containing important information is provided in the house. The house was a suitable choice for a week in the area, apart from the unpleasant issues noted below.
The supply of tableware is inadequate: there is too little cutlery and too few plates, and there are no soup plates at all. The beds are truly poor—basically the worst we have ever encountered on our holidays. The beds in the twin room, in particular, are very cheap; they creak at the slightest movement and are even more uncomfortable than the double bed. The location next to a busy road took some getting used to, especially since the windows and the entire building have poor sound insulation. The kitchen dining table is positioned in a rather unappealing spot—a dark, cramped corner. The upholstery on one of the chairs was badly damaged.

We used this house for proper sleep and repacking after longer hike - perfect. Quiet area, nice garden, shops in walking distance, nice kitchen, good price ratio
Quiet narrow parking entrance, be carefull with bigger car, otherwise perfect :-)
