Lovely wee hidden gem!

Love the central location of the apartments and that you can easily get about Falkirk! We'll definitely be staying again.

The only thing I would say is a wee bit better signage for the apartments next to the old nursery buildint would help - we were worried we were going to the wrong place but the directions were helpful and it was all good.

Once you find it, you'll really like it. It's very well presented inside. Would stay again.

Inside the property was actually really nice, in fact it was surprisingly good compared to the outside and local area. Well presented inside, with plenty of handy things in the kitchen, such as the dishwasher. Plenty of utensils, cutlery, plates. From the outside you may not expect very much, but it's actually really well decorated inside. Plenty of hot water for the powerful shower. Radiators worked well during the cold spell when we visited. Handy location for visiting nearby sights, and hiking up in the mountains.

We arrived in the dark and found locating the property to be a complete PITA. The instructions were not particularly helpful and the property is not lit around the outside, nor are there any signs on the side of the houses identifying it, until you find the right staircase to stumble up and the light at the top, near the front door switches on. Ideally the property would put a sign on the side of the terrace houses, and fit an additional light at the bottom of the stone staircase. I've added some better pictures to help people find the property, as it is really lovely inside and once you know where it is, you'll be fine. Take a torch for night-time visits! :-) Parking is awkward, as the area is very busy - maybe OK if you have a small car like a Corsa, but with a Transporter camper, it's not as easy as it could be. There is no allocated parking, so you just have to find somewhere nearby if you can. Not wheelchair accessible, not easy for anyone infirm.

Excellent andvwould definitely return

The location was perfect for my purpose. Close to the course I was doing with all amenities close by. The apartment was very clean and extremely well thought out, homely and so comfortable. The host was v reactive to any queries I had.

The kitchen could have had a baking tray and for a 10 night stay a restock of dishwasher/washing machine tabs but these are just comments. The road was noisy at some points.

Location close to retail area and within easy walking distance of Town Centre. Apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen

Lovely and memorable!

The flat was very clean, had all the necessary and complimentary equipment needed for a comfortable stay, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful as i faced some technical issues at first with the booking. The location was perfect!!! When booking i did not know that it was walking distance to the shopping center/ grocery stores, the park, and the train station which was a very delightful surprise that made our stay 100x better! Would highly recommend and would book again if i ever visit Scotland again.

Nice Apartment but local drivers let it down

Very stylish, modern decor. Lots of homely touches like provided milk and bottles of water.

We were given a different room to the one we booked which immediately made me very wary. The sofa bed back broke, tv was difficult to hear when the dishwasher or washing machine was on. Near a heavily used road so it was noisy (lots of boy races and revving) meaning we couldn't sleep with the window open (it was warm).

Lovely kitchen, well equipped. Fabulous large TV. Very comfortable bed, good storage. Good shower room. Liked the dressing table alcove but light bulb needs replacing.

Sofa not so comfortable, and was broken but repaired exceptionally quickly.

Convenient location close to roads leading to tourist locations; close to shops; unit was provided with all necessary equipment including washing machine; unit was clean

Busy road at night meant it is not a place for light sleepers and Friday/Saturday night traffic even will cause problems for normal sleepers; parking not available at the unit but appears to have other parking available off-site elsewhere

This is a great apartment with everything you need, and location was brilliant.

There was a bit of confusion about the address as the original booking had a different address just around the corner, but we contacted the host and it was sorted straight away. Great location only about 100 metres from the Retail Park that had supermarkets, chemist and takeaway places. Really good!

The parking is on the street and we were a bit concerned about how safe the car was there and if someone coming around the corner might hit it!

Good location in the city, entrance was a little uninviting but once inside great! Very nicely furnished, good facilities.

Had a problem with the sink in the upstairs apartment (our group of 4 had 2 apartments) - leaking waste water. Called Lisa and she was going to send plumber round but this happened the night before we were leaving. Not a great problem.

Perfect apartment! Absolutely immaculate! Comfy bed. Had everything you need! WiFi and tv with all the apps. Very near huge retail park! Would definitely go back!

Felt the price I paid could have been a bit cheaper as it was only room for two people. But apart from that, everything was good.

Touring break.

The apartment was well equipped and a short walking distance to both the railway and the shopping centre, which had grocery stores and restaurants. Having the use of the washing machine was wonderful, after so many days of travelling.

The washing machine was difficult to use, as it was all in one, drying as well and took a few tries before mastering the drying function. This apartment did not look like the photos at all, it was a completely different apartment from the one shown on the website and although it was adequate, there was 15 narrow steps to get up to our apartment and being in our mid sixty's we would not have booked this apartment had we known this prior. We were surprised there was not any recycling bin in the apartment, as we are avid recyclers. The throw on the bed was really dusty, and we left this on the floor on leaving as it needs to be washed.

Stirling was great but the service was not. Too little, too late.

Lovely decor. Good location. Close to the Kelpies, the wheel and not far from Stirling too. Comfy bed. Wifi was good and huge tv.

There were no instructions on any appliances. Even the shower taps were difficult. Scoulded ourselves with stiff taps not moving and couldn’t transfer to the wand. Milk bottle supplied had top that wouldn’t open. Sloping floors were dangerous and couldn’t open the doors properly. Heating kept going off randomly at 7pm and we were freezing. Again no advice given. The link to manuals didn’t open either. Just print some stuff and leave in a booklet.

I think we might use this flat again while visiting Scotland next time.

The appartment does not provide breakfast, but it was handy to have all the apliances which I used for my breakfast at home (a toaster, a coffee machine, a microwave, a stove too). The location is great to get anywhere in Scotland, we were attracted mostly by the location when booked the premises. Good fresh look of the flat, all furniture is new, great noise insulation from neighbours. The windows faced the street but the traffic noise did not disturb us at all. We were usisng the parking space in front of Victoria Park next door, it is free to park overnight and safe (at least we thought it to be so, and were lucky in any case). Actually there is all we needed for one week away from home.

I would like the matrasses to be a bit softer, but I believe this is more of a subjective thing. It is a bit of a draw-back that the appartment does not have an allocated parking place, but we found a free replacement at the entrance to Victoria Park, hope this is helpful.

At 10am whilst we opened the door to the apartment a maintainance guy was holding the door open. Wasn't informed that this was happening. Could of been anyone!! I believe check out wasn't until 11am

Always like to park close and did so most of the time. There was plenty of parking close by. Iron and board would have been good. Steps to first floor could be a problem for some.

A place to sleep, have breakfast and cook an evening meal.

The location was good for the event that we were attending.

It would be better if stated on booking that the car parking is actually across the road from the property. Luckily there was a space for my car, but it was just first come first served. Must be annoying for the neighbours that stay there all the time, someone appearing and taking their parking space.

Nice modern apartment. Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very handy for local shops, petrol, railway station and supermarket (tesco). Lovely, comfortable king sized bed.

Won't stay here again

The apartment was central to all our needs. Parking outside the apartment. Shops close by and a 50 minute walk to the Kelpies.

We picked this apartment based on the good reviews and the pictures on the website. Was somewhat disappointed with our stay here. When it came to washing our dishes there was no plug in the sink and no tea towel to dry them. There was no cleaning products at all, no hoover, brush/dustpan, cloths, bin liners etc. The outside door didn't fit properly leaving a small open gap. I'm well aware the outside area is shared with other residents, but the grass directly over the path from our door had a used condom laying over where you walk to get onto the street. Not ideal with young kids. When I opened the bedroom wardrobe door, there was a piece of chewed chewing gum stuck to the inside of the door. The small leather sofa in the bedroom was covered in dust and under the bed hadn't been cleaned in a while as there was hair and dust everywhere. It would have been helpful if there were USB charging points, as in this day and age a lot of people take electronic devices. It would have also been helpful if there was some sort of itinerary, eg. maps of the area, things to do, takeaway menus etc but there was absolutely nothing. As a family of 4, we only had 2 hand and bath towels. I did message the host about this and they brought down more for us, later that night. I don't think I'd stay here as a family of 4 again.
