This property is an absolute disgrace - do not believe the positive reviews !! The place is filthy, mouldy and in disrepair, every item of cutlery,crockery, pots and pans (a real mismatch of items) were dirty Mould heaven around bathroom accessories and ceiling - plus go on and on but a few photos will give you an idea Yes, I did raise our issues with admin and was offered a 10% discount on my next stay, like I would stay at any of Kelpies again My booking was not exactly cheap and definitely not value for money - do yourself a favour and spend a bit more for a lot more !!!

I recently stayed at a property booked through Kelpies Apartments, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The bed linens were dirty, and some beds didn’t even have linens at all. The house was overall unclean and had bed bugs, which left me covered in bites. Additionally, the water from the tap didn’t get hot, and the shower water pressure was very weak, making it difficult for my friends to wash their hair. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable stay.

Location was wonderful due to proximity to markets and the train station. The presence of a bathtub in the bathroom was also a very welcome surprise. Having a washing machine and drying rack was one of my favorite amenities.

The heaters did not work, so a lot of the laundry that we washed in the washing machine were not able to fully dry before we had to leave and we ended up having to take them to a laundrette in the next town we went to. The lack of elevators made moving our luggage a bit difficult as well.

The Location was good. Nothing else.

It was the worst Apartment we ever stayed. THIS IS NOT A SERVICED APARTMENT, Just a run down filthy and dusty apartment. We stayed over the Easter weekend- booked through booking.com. I would say this was one of the worst apartments ever booked and paid for. The entire flat was run down dirty, filthy and dusty. I have got pictures and video's of the flat with dust on the heater, unfortunately cannot update the video where you can see dust built up and flying around. The coasters and the dining table was sticky and dirty. The TV remote had literally no buttons, looked like a pet has eaten all the buttons. The evening we arrived the heating and TV was not working, so we called the number on the guest book- the lady just said she cant do anything and will look at it in the morning. The next day we realized hot water was not working? We did not have hot water for all 3 nights. We had a 2 twin bedroom flat and we were just a couple and my daughter, They had 1 single bed made up for us in each room. When we complained about this to booking.com. They just contacted the property and told us nothing can be done and property is not going to do anything on this. On top of this they sent me the reply property sent them- which was full of lies. Property tried to contact us, they sent an engineer to sort the hot water this was all a lie. No one attended the property. BOOKING.COM NEEDS TO LISTEN TO US TOO. It was just a disaster stay. And then to top all up, they charged £45 of our HOUSEKEEPING deposit to say I didn't informed them about my daughter? SERIOUSLY. Why would i not cout my daughter in. Anyways I have contacted the citizen advice bureau to get to the trading standards. I AM NOT LETTING THIS GO Please refund my £45 with immediate effect. This is ILLLEGAL. This is a Day light robbery.

Communication between me and the host was excellent, clean lovely spacious apartment, nothing to fault , excellent value for money
