This house truly had it all and really made our stay in Kyoto special. The rooms were large with plenty of very comfortable beds. I loved having a large television in my room. The living room was incredible; the giant TV was very impressive, and the kitchen and dining table were well equipped and very useful. It was the perfect area for a large group to spend time together. The karaoke room was so much fun! The LIVEDAM system had a ton of English songs and even supported plugging in devices through HDMI, which we did to sing along to songs on YouTube. The room seemed well dampened enough to prevent irritating any neighbors. The bath downstairs was better than any bathroom I've seen in Japan! It was like having our own onsen. The room had an excellent sauna, showers, and bathtubs. This place could also handle a lot of people: we had a group of 6 and the space could've handled many many more. The location was very convenient and easy to navigate to and from. There is a station just a 5 minute walk down the street, and there's incredible food and shopping all over this part of town. Kyoto Sanjo Shopping Street had so many cute shops and places to eat, and it was less than a 10 minute walk away. Nijo Castle is also right across the street and was very impressive. The castle grounds were massive and beautiful. I would very highly recommend this property.

I don't have anything negative to say about our experience at this house. The closest train station entrance had a lot of stairs, but I feel like we could've found an elevator if we used a different entrance. The stairs in the house are very steep and narrow like most Japanese houses, so please watch your step! The first floor is accessible, but the living room is on the second floor, so keep that in mind if you have anybody who can't navigate stairs.
