The property was INCREDIBLE. Very clean, cozy, and in a great location: you're a little far from the subway but there are more than enough buses. Very quiet and chill too- here was a large group staying next to me and I didn't hear a peep from them. Loved the interior decorating too, the nods to the area's past as a weaving/fabric hub were so cute and thoughtful! The hosts were incredibly responsive- I had a question while staying and they replied within five minutes.
Also, that TUB!
I wish there were a few more blankets and pillows provided and the placement of the TV was awkward, but compared to everything else that I loved that's so minor that I feel bad even mentioning it... Also, kind of unwieldy to get there with large suitcases, but just call a cab?

The facilities were exceptional. It was a lovely home stay.
If anything it was being so far out from the centre of the city.

We stayed in January when it snowed in Kyoto and the property was very warm and comfortable. It is very close to buses, supermarkets and good coffee. With two bathrooms it it well suited to large groups. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
