La nostra casa di Fiume

Our host, Mr. Federica, was very polite and explained everything in detail. The property was in excellent condition and had three bedrooms, a comfortable living room, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. We didn't use the dishwasher because there were no dishwasher tablets provided, but that wasn't a major issue. The property also had a washing machine and an iron, which were very convenient. The property is situated above road level and can be reached by a set of stone-paved steps. Check-in and check-out were both very convenient and hassle-free. The host kindly welcomed us with snacks, drinks, and dried pasta. Our children especially loved the variety of jams and spreads that were provided for breakfast, which was a thoughtful touch. Nearest train stop was Fiumellate which was another plus point. Villa Monastero is within walking distance of both the Varenna ferry terminal and the train station, making it an excellent location for exploring the area. I highly recommend this property for family holidays. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and a very positive experience.

There was nothing to dislike about the host or the property. The only suggestion for improvement is the access to Fiumelatte train station, which could be made easier and more convenient. This is not related to the accommodation itself but to the local infrastructure.

Läget var enastående. Fantastiskt uteplats. Vi uppskattade även att köket var välutrustat.

没有空调，但有风扇。 白天我们都在外面游览，黄昏时回到公寓。夜里和早餐客厅和露台非常凉爽惬意，没有空调完全没有问题。 但卧室各人感受不同。我们一家感觉挺好，有风扇并不热，睡得很好。而我们的朋友很怕热，她觉得睡觉的时候感觉比较热。

We loved our stay and the property owner. He was so accommodating and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and the location. We loved the walk to Varenna and the restaurant close by. The property had so much character and the rooms had plenty of space. It was nice having two bathrooms with showers and a washing machine.

Keep in mind that you do have to carry your luggage up several stairs, but it’s worth it.
