The Lake Como view from the property is magnificient. Unit cleanliness was excellent, we had all we needed during our stay. Shower water pressure was good. It's approx 20 mins walk to Varenna (the main 'place' where you take ferry, restaurants etc). Host Alfredo was extremely helpful and friendly. He waited to welcome us, walked us to the unit, even helped us with our heavy luggages as there were quite some steps. We really appreciated that. There are swimming spots just across the road, if you appreciate that experience. (Note: It is actually very close to the train station 'Fiumelatte' however there are many stone steps down to the main road, then steps again upto the unit. Therefore, if you have heavy luggages, suggest you train to station' Varenna' and take taxi to Fiumelatte (where the house is), but you still need to walk around 70+ steps upto the unit. Just something to take into consideration if you have big luggages, elderly and/or kids.) Apart from that it's a beautiful place! Thank you for hosting us!

Location great. Only a 20 min flat walk to Varenna. Great views. Clean and tidy. Parking in a garage included.
