It was clean comfortable and pretty quiet, a big difference from down by the lake. The walk up from Varenna was just a bit far and steep for bringing the bags up but that keeps it a bit more exclusive.

We had a wonderful time. Accommodation v clean and spacious with everything we needed. Delightful host. Amazing outdoor space amongst olive trees with lake and hillside views.
Everything was perfect for us. If you don't like climbing stairs you need a car (parking v close by).

The atmosphere is so good. Quiet, quaint, rustic spot. The views are also breathtaking. Owner put a lot of effort into making our stay amazing.
Apart from a taxi, there are no comfortable ways to get up to this spot. Be prepared for an intense knee workout going up the bajillion stairs or winding down the road.

Really enjoyed our stay in Perledo . Such a beautiful village. Weather was amazing. It takes a bit of uphill climbing but we didn’t mind at all . Our 7 year old son managed to climb up the hill each time dnd we only used taco once on arrival. Very thoughtful of Sandra to book us taxi on arrival and her recommendations on local attractions were excellent. You can buy eggs , honey and wine from Sandra’s Agriturismo Loved the area so much .. away from crowds but close enough to train station and ferry port .
It was little bit cold at night .
