It was bright, clean, close to the town, comfortable. It is in walking distance to the town and very close to the station. No need for taxis.
Nothing! It is close to the station and road. This was not disruptive for us but some may not like it.

Quiet and convenient location with a great balcony. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a full kitchen with all necessities. We relaxed every morning and evening on the balcony. Dog friendly apartment and close to Bau Bau dog beach. My pup loved swimming in Como. And friendly and helpful staff.
Train station brings thousands of tourists on walking tour that take up all the spots on the ferry to and back. We waited 2 hours in the sun to get the ferry back to Varenna from Bellagio. For this reason alone I would not stay in Varenna again.

Big space. Very clean. Loved the terrace. Staff nice.
Scrimped on basics - get some proper handwash bottles instead of two sachets. This should be standard. The place is lovely otherwise

The apartment was clean and well presented. Spacious.
The surrounding was noisy due to ongoing construction work even during nights.
The parking which was reserved for me was up on a slope and whilst parking my car had a bump at the bottom due to sudden flat surface at the top. Same thing happened whilst taking my car back out.
