Le Palm House has two bedrooms with the breathtaking view over lake Como

The accommodation is located in Perledo, in a quiet area with a breathtaking view over Lake Como you can admire from the terrace. The flat is equipped with everything you may need . There is a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed, a small room with one bed, a kitchen with a dining area and a bathroom. You can reach the flat from Varenna by taxi or by bus ( in the evening from 7 pm till midnight you can travel on a night bus which is free of charge). The contact with the host was excellent - thank you Lily and Andy once again :) I definitely recommend this place.

There was nothing to complain about.

La casa está impecablemente equipada; la cocina cuenta con todo lo necesario para sentirse como en casa. Además, la anfitriona es amabilísima y estuvo siempre muy pendiente de que no nos faltara absolutamente nada durante la estancia.

The property was beautiful and clean, the view from the bedrooms and balcony are just incredible. The host is lovely and very helpful! There was a small bar/ restaurant at the bottom of the street that served incredible fresh local food. Parking is a bit tricky as it’s a narrow road, but there is an easy spot to pull up to get bags unloaded and parking is not too far. Loved staying here and travelling to the busy lakeside towns; got the small town vibes and incredible lake and mountain views without the noise and craziness!

Just be careful with the shower; full pressure is lovely but will flood the bathroom!

Centralised in perledo Veranna, which is what we wanted. Has a small terraced front garden overlooking Como. Franco the hostel was really nice and very informative. Getting to Bellagio etc is very easy from here.

Location was reason why we paid over the odds for coming here. However, without a car it's very difficult to wind back down or up the mountain road. Facilities for making breakfast good but need topping up and perhaps more variety as we booked for family of 4. Needs modernising as its very dated. Beds not comfortable at all Currently parking on Varenna is near impossible due to ongoing works.. but this has nothing to do with the stay..Just advice
