The location so close to town was great. Walk to everything. The night time was quiet. Easy access through the 3 doors with code. Great slanted views of the lake, along with trees and well kept homes.

The second floor climb (third floor in US terms) was a lot with heavy suitcases. The elegant bathroom had no robe hooks. The shower had no soap shelf. The small bed was rickety and not very comfortable. Although there was a stove and sink and microwave, there were no pots and pans.

The room was lovely. Beautifully decorated and spacious enough for 2. Cute little balcony was a bonus! The entire property was clean and nicely decorated. Great location close to shops and restaurants and ferry

Bathroom could have used a bar of soap and a shelf in the shower to hold soap and shampoo . The kitchenette have used a 2nd plate, however, I'm not going to nitpick it was really pretty, clean and very comfortable

Only complaint waa the pillows...very hard.

The location is hard to beat, and the host was communicative and responsive whenever we reached out.

The biggest problem for us was the bathroom, especially the shower. It is a small shower cabin with no shelf, tray, or place to put shampoo or soap. That means every time you need something, you have to bend or squat down to the shower floor while wet. This is not a minor design issue—it makes something as basic as taking a shower unnecessarily awkward and uncomfortable. There was also no proper hook for towels. The heated towel rail is positioned so that towels rub against the painted wall rather than tile, which is impractical and not particularly hygienic. The other major disappointment came at checkout. Only after arriving did we find instructions requiring guests to wash all dishes by hand—there is no dishwasher—and carry all garbage out of the property to external bins. These rules were not disclosed at booking time/page and not common for a professionally managed business/residence. That is not how checkout rules should work. If guests are expected to perform specific cleaning and garbage-removal tasks, those conditions should be clearly disclosed before the reservation is made, not introduced after the guest has already payed/checked in. Guests should not be held responsible for obligations they never agreed to. The location is excellent and the host was responsive, but at this price, goal of business and category, basic usability should be better and checkout expectations should be transparent from the beginning.
