Chalet Verve

Following meetings in Basel, I visited Interlaken for two days. I found Chalet Verne on the internet. It is unique to stay in a ~130-year-old chalet, a short walk to town. The rooms are eclectic but are very comfortable. I slept better than I do at modern hotels. The service is outstanding. The breakfast is very fresh and prepared especially for each table. It was a highlight. The building is owned and managed by a family that is heavily involved with the tourist industry. They gave me great recommendations on how to best spend my two-day visit. They also recommended local restaurants that were excellent and not targeted at tourists. Overall, a great stay. Highly recommended.

一百多年历史的老宅院和热情待人的员工共同创造了难忘的住宿体验，在这里就像在家中一样舒适自在，此外早餐也是一大亮点，绝对推荐！

Breakfast was nice location excellent

No ensuite

Staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and really good knowledge of the area. Always there to greet you and the property had bags of character. Breakfast was very tasty and it was close to the main town and Interlarken Ost. Although our bathroom was not en-suite it was for our exclusive use.

We stayed during a heatwave and being at the top of the building the heat was unbearable and we had little sleep for two days. I understand they are not allowed to fit aircon into the rooms but a portable unit or fan would have helped a lot
