The location was excellent and as it was winter we could park on the seafront a few minutes away. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely.
The bathroom could do with some updating and the green emergency light which shone in the middle of the room all night was a bit annoying when trying to sleep.

We had an excellent evening meal and cooked breakfast. The Landlord and the two staff we met were excellent and helpful.
Apparently they are waiting to update the the premises and it definitely needs it. However the bar area was comfortable and acceptable.
There is no parking on site and you will need to park on the sea front, as we did, but need to check when booking.
It was well situated however it is about 30/50 yards up a side street and close to several pubs and restaurants plus the beach.
The bedroom (Clovelly) was very tired, although as stated due to be renovated. The bed was huge and comfortable with plenty of storage space.

Location was good and nice breakfast. We didn’t eat here but the food looked good.
No wi-fi in bedroom. No hairdryer any more. Dirty towel on back of door in bathroom.
