2 night stay

A quaint little place. Staff, especially the nice lady who booked us in and went to the shop to get my daughter some biscuits and water as she was unwell and couldn't eat breakfast. We only had breakfast which was really good.

The room was very basic. Needs better heat in the room and there was no heat at all in the bathroom. A couple of coat hooks and USBs for charging phones would have been helpful. There was no heat in the bar on our 2nd morning, so not very comfortable eating breakfast.

Lovely overnight stay.

Old world charm, historic building set in a lovely Devon village. Room was very comfortable and good quality modern en-suite. Breakfast was excellent.

Unfortunately the bar is not open on a Monday we hitch led to some inconvenience in having dinner in the evening.

A wonderful 2 days' stay - we'll be back !!

Dinner was excellent on the 2 nights we stayed - not surprising as the owner/chef is Michelin rated ! Our room was comfortable and quiet and the bathroom facilities were good. Breakfast was excellent for me (full English) and my friend enjoyed his porridge ! Friendly, chatty staff and the service was excellent. A beautifully quaint 16/17 century pub/restaurant/B&B in a quiet characterful village in the middle of Devon and their £ rates are very competitive - what more could you want ?!

Comfy bed and lovely breakfast, lovely host!

Breakfast was lovely, cooked well and served by our lovely hostess, The room was comfortable enough for a few days stay,

I had to boil a kettle as the water in the bathroom was a bit cold, as was the shower :(

Evening meal of rack of lamb was exceptionally good.Sticky toffee pudding was also excellent.

Amazing Inn in a beautiful location with exceptional service

It was in a beautiful location. We booked the stay as a last minute stop on our journey home from holiday. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. They went out of the way to look after us & make us feel welcome. The food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend & stay again.
