About this lodge

Superbly situated with plenty of room for six guests to relax in comfort. Enjoy stunning valley views over the village and church, from within the lodge, or from your own private decking area. It's a short thirty minute stroll through the village to the beach, passing 3 pubs and local amenities along the way. There's a further 2 pubs at the beach, or you can hire kayaks and paddle boards to explore our beautiful bay. With access onto Exmoor national park and the South West Coast path, from your front door, there's walking aplenty.

The lodge includes a double bedroom with TV and en-suite shower room. The twin room has two single beds; both rooms have plenty of storage. There is a further bunk bed room, with beautiful views, and a family bathroom, with bath, shower and heated towel rail. The lodge has a well equipped open kitchen, dinning and living area, with plenty of space. French doors open on to your own private decking area, with outside table and chairs, so you can have a glass of wine and take in the view. The lodge has a grassed garden area to the front and private parking for two cars.

The lodge is very well insulated , with gas fired central heating throughout, and is extremely cosy for winter stays and Christmas breaks.

Lovely place. Very clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend, but I was surprised to be asked to strip the beds before leaving. Maybe I’m old school, but I expect to leave a place clean and tidy, not start doing the actual house keeping when I’ve paid for somewhere.

Not impressed that i got charged 100 pounds extra for a stained mattress that we have no evidence that any of are party soiled it. The beds were made on arrival and we did not think we would a have to stripe the beds to check. the owners as con artists and you as the agent should be very carful as they will get you a bed reputation . will not be using thier property again.
