I will not book again

The parking bay allocated to the flat was in constant use by other people, when I had sent messages about this I received no response, but I kept getting messages about rules and regulations of the apartment. When I confirmed I had checked out I got a reply. Also the apartment does not have sound proof walls, you can hear the very loud neighbour's ever move, including the vacuuming at all hours of the night, and their guest having a very loud conversation in the hallway

Ok for a city centre base

Location was perfect for us. It was warm and comfortable.

If there are other people in the other rooms or can be noisy. There's only one set of keys provided. The place is difficult to find. There's a YouTube video to show you how to get in and fortunately we noticed a building opposite that we recognised in the reflection of the door. In the dark and if you're unfamiliar with the space you will struggle to find out. The flat is 11 but there are a number of buildings at James court and some are marked 11. A map with a big red cross on it would help. The owners will pursue you with messages to check your got there ok etc and even call you repeatedly to make sure you checked in. A fire alarm went off at 0430 our first night, not the fault of the place but didn't help things.

Disappointing

Modern and had the necessary item for cooking and cleaning.

Not even a quarter of a roll of toilet paper - good job I carry tissues everywhere. Towels were the size of a postage stamp. I couldn't figure out how to work the heating, messaged the owner but got no response. I figured it out on the last night and it seems that there is one thermostat in the foyer that controls more than one apartment. The radiator isn't big enough to get enough heat through the apartment, especially in winter. The property boasts soundproofing - it's non existent. You can hear every toilet flush, every shower, every TV, every step on the stairs and all the doors slamming

Good for longer term stays

comfy bed, three milk sachets, some tea bags, shower works well. Hairdryer and steam iron. Compact

Number of emails/messages/calls from owners/landlords nagging and asking for various actions from me. They were bordering on harrassment. It's okay for longer-term stays. One night ends up with you taking everything with you inc. shower gel etc. Neighbours talking and banging doors in and out all evening until after midnight - very thin walls - could hear them urinating in the night. Coffee was old - unusable - luckily had brought a sachet with me

Okay if you just need a room. Probably wouldn’t stay again

The bedroom was clean and good pillows.

A few days before my trip they messaged me saying I needed to pay extra for a cleaning fee. I complained to booking.com and magically that fee went away. Also they messaged me a few times after booking asking me if I wanted to upgrade. I don’t think that’s appropriate tbh. Main door into the flat wasn’t always locked. The kitchen was not clean and smelt sooo bad there was so barely anything useful in there like no washing up liquid and no spoons etc. The room was tiny but that’s okay. Also the sheet was on inside out small things like that.

Failed at the basics; dirty bed linen, uncleaned, unresponsive.

Secure and private. Quiet.

Hadn't been cleaned from previous guests! Had to clean the place myself, buy my own towel and turn the bed sheets inside out. Cooking and eating utensils were either damaged, missing or terrible quality. Host doesn't respond directly, just spits out automated copy and paste messages. Cannot recommened and will not use again.
