Terrible customer service

Despite paying for parking I received a £60 fine . I rang the hotel up and they were quite rude telling me it was my problem . Disgusting customer service

Nice convenient, good value for money hotel

The hotel was chosen for its location to the Train station as I had to pick up two work colleagues travelling by train that morning. Room and bathroom were acceptable and for he price of £68 good value for money. That price also included a very good full English breakfast.

room could be improved further with a fresh coat of paint but that wouldn't stop me for staying there again

Location was good. Breakdast good. Have stayed here before and it used to be ok.

The lift was broken and I was put in a room as far away from the entrance as possible on 3rd floor. I now have a injured back from carrying my case up 50 plus steps. The hotel was vertually empty. The Manager could have instructed reception to offer ground floor rooms as the lift was brojeb, but chose not to. The room was cold and draughty.

Check in was easy. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room and ensuite were very clean and warm, the shower was hot, very important! We both enjoyed our breakfast. If you arrive by train the hotel is directly opposite the main railway station. It's also about a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre and the Derbion shopping mall. The Shalamar restaurant is also well worth a visit for dinner.

As above. Access from parking to the hotel was completely unsigned and digital information was lacking in vital detail. The whole place was dismally impersonal with no staff except a receptionist. The location is in a semi industrial part of Derby 10 or 15 mins walk from the centre with dark featureless streets

Fair but would not return

The location was alright, close to the station

Needed towels that never got delivered despite me asking twice, also the room was never cleaned unless you request it and it was alot smaller than the pictures portrayed, the lift was out of service so we had to use the stairs which was not too bad, the front door is out of service so you're forced to come all the way through the back and get stared at by random people in the dining area the lighting in the room was really poor and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, it has potential and I'd say for the price its fair but I would not return

A great place for our short stay.

Parking available right behind the hotel; payment via qr code at Reception. We requested a ground floor room. Our room was at the back of the building and despite being at street level, was very quiet even on a weekend night. The room and bathroom could do with some cosmetic work, but were clean and sufficient for us. The water pressure is worth noting! Plenty of hot water and a good blast so perfect for showering and hair washing! The breakfast was brilliant. There were fried eggs - real eggs, not the scrambled powder! I asked for vegetarians sausages, and they were cooked for me on demand, and presented perfectly cooked, and with a smile. The staff were helpful, polite and chatty, which is always nice.

Incredible Helping Managers . Both the Managers helped me fix my stay at the last minute , went way and above to make my stay comfortable. So kind and helpful. Clean spacious room , warm and comfortable.

Nice hotel

Nice room big bed great location

Guy on front desk needs to go back to hoisting school the room was very cold the heating was on but wasn't really up to heating the room so I asked at reception if they could supply a heater so guy on reception pointed to a oil filled radiator and said help yourself. As im the guest in the hotel and 2 flights of stairs. I dont think so
