Lovely pub and accommodation friendly lively. A little noisy traffic as main road

Great pub and welcome. Extra of kitchen available and cereal toast and extras.

Mixed up booking had a twin instead of double. This was identified by host and apologised.

Great room and friendly staff.

Rooms are very comfortable and there is everything you need. I love a nice tea tray and there are toiletries too. Excellent location when you have booked to watch a band playing there.

Had a marvellous time, gotta love Derby!

It was clean, comfortable, the staff were fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly! The pub had a good selection of beer and was very welcoming. They hold some brilliant gigs. AND there’s convenient parking in the multi-story car park just around the corner, and not too expensive, either!

Great venue for gigs, comfortable room, nice kitchenette with self service continental breakfast.

Only reason I downgraded facilities to 9 was because the radiator was cold and it wasn’t on in October

Staff were super friendly and the location was brilliant. Couldn't hear any noise from outside! The room was spacious with plenty of tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom wasn't fantastic - there was a damp, musky smell and the hand towels weren't clean.

Location was superb. We were attending a gig in The Flowerpot so couldn’t have been closer. We could have croissants, porridge, cereal or breakfast bars in the morning.

Would definitely stay again if I was in Derby

Staff, room and cleanliness were excellent. Easy check in. The way you have self service breakfast was good with a good selection of food. Food on the curry night was beyond expectations. good selection of real ales.

The wifi was the only thing that was poor it was a weak to non existent signal at times. This was very important to me as I needed to keep in contact with family abroad. Could only give you 3 out of 4 for wifi, If you can improve this I would have given full marks for the facilities.

Perfect Stay & Location

Attended for Flowerpot Rock Weekender. Location, comfy firm bed, great amenities with offers of a continental style 'go to' breakfast in the kitchen galley area. Noon check out and a minute walk to car park. Traffic noise as mentioned in previous reviews was not an issue at all, perhaps they were light sleepers

Room 6 was a little stuffy as all the sash windows were sealed due to H&S. May have been better to have restricters on, as the much welcome fan just circulated the warm air. However, this would not stop us from staying in future.
