Easy to locate, multi storey on next corner.
Went into bar & was seen to immediately, booked in.
Taken next door, shown room & kitchen facilities.
Although room was on the small side, it was adequate for a single person for a one night stay.
Took a bit fiddling to get shower 🚿 to my preferred setting but once set it was lovely.
Came back from a night out & the band were still playing beliw, but at 23:00 it all stopped.
Slept well in a comfortable bed 🛌 with very little traffic noise.
Next morning 🌄 I just had one or two bars from the kitchen as didn't fancy cereal or toast.
Placed keys 🔑 in box & departed at 9am for drive back to Newcastle.
All in all, a good, budget friendly hotel in the Cathedral quarter.
Shall consider 🤔 this establishment next time I'm visiting Donington Park for bike 🏍 racing 🏁.
At first the shower 🚿 was either scalding or tepid but a bit fine tuning got it right, was probably set correct in first place!

The room was very clean with a large shower area and an extremely comfy bed. Tea and coffee and some delicious biscuits were in the room, and the kitchenette had a fridge available along with a microwave and toaster, with breakfast cereals supplied.
I have nothing negative to say.

The room was exactly what I needed for the night, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Food in the pub was excellent
Traffic noise from the road outside in the morning was a little intrusive, I found the WiFi to be quite sluggish.

It was clean and the location was good
There was a terrible smell, first thing we did on arrival was to open the windows !!
