Northlands Coach House Devon

Very much enjoyed the spaciousness of the living room and bedroom, and the lovely view from the living room window with lots of birds coming and going at the feeders. It was wonderfully quiet and dark outside at night so slept well. The aircon was excellent. Generous welcome pack. And generous storage space - huge cupboard off the main room, other cubby holes and large utility room downstairs. The parking space for two cars was very handy and secure. It was easy to use the code to get into the property grounds and the property itself. It was a great base for walking the local part of the South West Coast Path.

Only a few niggles. Generally well equipped but the fridge was very small so we couldn't buy more than a couple of meals in advance. It was clean throughout but there was some dirty crockery which hadn't been washed up/checked. I found the bed a bit soft for my personal preference and the green fire alarm light right above the bed too bright at night. Better instructions are needed on how to exit using the pedestrian gate as there was some faded writing on a board which wasn't clear and I couldn't find the exit button at all so had to get in the car to open the main gate automatically.
