We picked this property due to the proximity to the university and because there was free parking and these were the best elements to the property. It's very close to the city centre so most things are within walking distance. I was worried this would mean it was noisy but it really wasn't. We didn't hear the traffic at all. The apartments was lovely and warm and the beds were very comfortable. The automatic lighting downstairs is handy (but it came on randomly during the night and woke us due to random window into the hall).
The property has obviously been renovated which leads to odd placement and random windows that serve no purpose. You can also see evidence of the renovations with some elements being lovely and others poorly finished. The rooms were really clean but stairs were a bit grubby. The shower was at best 'warm' and couldn't get the temperature to go any higher. There are lovely big wardrobes but no hangers to hang anything. The kitchen is generally well equipped but there was no tea towel to dry dishes and only one teaspoon. There were only 4 mugs (fine for us as only 3 people) but as it sleeps 6 this might not be enough for other people. The living room would also be small for 6 people to relax properly.
