Great location in a comfortable but very basic flat

The location of the property was excellent for us, close to Drakes Circus. It was spotlessly clean & we were offered an early check in on request. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of towels.

Lack of basic items - no teaspoons, only 3 glasses & 3 mugs when 4 of us were staying - we didn’t report it as we were only staying for one night so managed with what we had. There was no lamp in the second bedroom so we had to borrow one from the bigger bedroom. There are locks on every door in the flat apart from the bathroom door. There are a LOT of steps within the flat - bear this in mind if you have young children or mobility issues. A new building has been built on the back of this one so the bigger bedroom, bathroom & kitchen have windows but these are not openable or able to see through.

Great location but basic accommodation.

We picked this property due to the proximity to the university and because there was free parking and these were the best elements to the property. It's very close to the city centre so most things are within walking distance. I was worried this would mean it was noisy but it really wasn't. We didn't hear the traffic at all. The apartments was lovely and warm and the beds were very comfortable. The automatic lighting downstairs is handy (but it came on randomly during the night and woke us due to random window into the hall).

The property has obviously been renovated which leads to odd placement and random windows that serve no purpose. You can also see evidence of the renovations with some elements being lovely and others poorly finished. The rooms were really clean but stairs were a bit grubby. The shower was at best 'warm' and couldn't get the temperature to go any higher. There are lovely big wardrobes but no hangers to hang anything. The kitchen is generally well equipped but there was no tea towel to dry dishes and only one teaspoon. There were only 4 mugs (fine for us as only 3 people) but as it sleeps 6 this might not be enough for other people. The living room would also be small for 6 people to relax properly.

Lovely stay would definitely use again if available

The apartment was clean, very spacious quite easy to locate and very close to the city centre and University. The beds were comfortable. The living room was cosy with comfy setees. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Kitchen had supplies and complementary tea cofee milk and biscuits. There was a freshmatic along the landing that gave a nice subtle aroma. I would not fault the property at all.

Comfortable and good location.

The location - we could walk to the waterfront, and the comfortable beds.

There was no hot water - this was fixed quickly though. The shower floor is extremely slippery (needs a non slip mat) and it is extremely slow to drain. The movement activated lights woke up the other person in the middle of the night.

Great apartment in a good location for shopping and university visits.

Large 2 bedroom apartment, well equipped kitchen with washing machine which was handy as we needed it unexpectedly

Although the sensors for the lighting is a good idea the ones on the staircases kept switching on and off all night with no one leaving the bedrooms.

Was good, would do again.

Good location, quick to fix problems, good kitchen, very responsive staff, the owners have the Chinese takeaway at front so you are looked after, also they don't stiff you over for a security deposit which never gets refunded. What you pay for on booking.com is it.

Need dustpan and brush or a hoover. Can't clean floors. Sides of the sofas had a lot of debris in. The flat is opposite a goth pub, it was really noisy on the band nights. Flat needs some upgrades, like a toilet on top level. Three flights of stairs in the flat.

A great base for a city break to get your heads down!

Great location literally minutes walk away from drakes circus, a free parking space, spacious accommodation, clean apartment but also bedding and towels are clean, easy check in and check out with clear instructions provided! Tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, body wash all great touches. Mattresses comfy!

We came in the summer, the main bedroom (with 2 double beds in) the windows aren’t actually windows they’re blocked off, so no light or air comes in through them meaning the room was boiling, we had one fan provided but due to the plug positioning in the rooms we couldn’t position it for all of us to feel the effects of it. Multiple fans would be really beneficial in the summer for that room, or perhaps having air con fitted in that room. The other bedroom with the working window was nice and cool.

Good apartment, great location

Excellent location, walkable to Barbican and town centre and free parking. Very clean, good facilities. We had an issue with hot water, I rang the host and someone came within 15 minutes to fix it. Would recommend and would book again for visits to Plymouth

Perfect Group, Central Plymouth booking

Great, central location; within easy reach of the Barbican /Hoe /theatre. Easy self-checkin/out. Plenty of space and facilities for our one-night stay. Great, swift communication with Booking staff.

The night time motion - sensor lights were a little annoying, and parking for more than one car would have been useful.

Excellent location with great space for the whole group. High quality and comfy beds. Quiet and easy to park outside. Just minutes from the city centre with plenty of high street shops to choose from. Would highly recommend!

All in all the apartment had everything we need.

Well equipped apartment, good location with ample parking and comfortable beds at an affordable price.

A lot of step steps up to flat, followed by a very steep staircase inside due to being on a split level, not suitable for young children as also had an open banister. The living room was very small and too small for family’s or large group of people as a communal space which was a bit disappointing.

very well presented and clean and tidy, hosts are extremely accommodating for any requests i had and always on the end of the phone if there was a problem, beds are very comfy and had a good nights sleep, cant hear any noise from the back bedroom. i love how it is a whole apartment for a very good value for money

Can be a little hard to find however hosts were quick to get back to me and guide me in the right direction windows in the back bedroom opens up to a brick wall

Fantastic location with comfort at mind

Fantastic location with very friendly service from Amy! Made us feel very welcome and at home. Comfortable beds and all amenities we could need for the weekend stay. Central location within walking distance to the city centre or Barbican. Added bonus of free on-site parking. Will be returning!

Comfortable bed, great location

The location was great, the bed was comfortable, the shower was lovely. The property is more like a 2 bedroom house than a flat as it is on 2 levels with bedrooms upstairs and living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs. There is free parking right outside the door.

It was so cold when we arrived as it was frezing outside and I don't think anyone had stayed in the property for a while. The heating is either on all the time or off all the time so there is no timer function and the hall and landing are very large and not heated but we put the heating on and kept all the doors closed and eventually the rooms with radiators in warmed up.

Great stay - very clean accommodation with free toiletries and towels are provided. Well stocked up coffee station. Beds were very comfortable and room spacious. Host Kevin was quick to respond. Location and parking couldn't be better.

Really cosy and comfortable stay. City centre is under a minutes walk from the accommodation. Plenty of high street shops and eateries to choose from. Cannot fault location. Will definitely be booking again as host Kevin was so friendly and welcoming!

Fantastic family weekend break

Fantastic accommodation with very friendly host! Location is so central that all shops you need are just a short walking distance from the accommodation. Everything is provided with fluffy towels and all toiletries. Great value for money with parking all inclusive. Will definitely be returning again!

Brilliant stay with fabulous host! Extremely conveniently located in the city centre with plenty of shops just across the road including restaurants and cafes. Shopping mall also 2 minutes away with abundance range of shops to choose from. Comfortable stay and had great rest. Will return in summer!
