Proximity to Barbican and Harbour! Also could contact the hosts before and during the stay and they were quick to reply and reassure!

The location was central, check in was easy, the property was clean, the boiler had broken so there was no hot water, but it was repaired in a few hours and the manager was very pleasant and efficient.
I booked the deluxe studio because it had 'city views' but it was in the basement and the view was a brick wall 3' away from the window, so it was dark. There was no plug or washing up bowl in the sink, no teaspoons (only one latte spoon), only one mug, plate, bowl etc each, no saucepans, and the button was damaged on the microwave. The fridge was very noisy and disturbed us at night. Obviously, whatever had been damaged or broken by previous occupants had not been fixed or replaced. No bin in the bathroom either.

The location was good and the facilities in the apartment were acceptable a warm and cosy stay.
Very noisy young next door neighbour late at night into the early hours I often got woken up.
