Perfectly ok.

Very convenient and great communication. We were really grateful to have a late check out as our daughter wasn't well.

We were told there was one small step to get into our room which was important as our daughter is a wheelchair user. In fact there are two lots of two stairs. Tricky but we were able to lift her. The hob didn't work but again not a big deal and we didn't report it as we were getting ready to leave.

Not a pleasant stay with lack of sleep

The location was good and the facilities in the apartment were acceptable a warm and cosy stay.

Very noisy young next door neighbour late at night into the early hours I often got woken up.

Comfy room.

We loved how comfy the bed was and how warm the room was at night. We definitely appreciated a good night's sleep after all the travelling. We loved how the sea was about a 10 minute walk away.

The shower was broken upon arrival, the twisty thing to turn the shower on was very loose and no amount of pushing, pulling, or twisting would make the shower work. Thankfully I somehow managed to fix it myself but I have no idea how I did. The cutlery was sticky so we did need to wash before using them. We found it was the provided sponge that was making everything sticky, so we threw that sponge away. Be careful with the door to the main room, it's a reasonably weighty door and it will slam loudly if you let it shut by itself.

Why would you book a 'Hotel Room' elsewhere?

For the price point in central Plymouth, why would you book a Hotel room?! Honestly.. an entire apartment, immaculately clean with every amenity, it's a home from home. I've stayed several times.

My only gripe is that in the several times I've stayed here, not one of the rooms had sockets near the bed to charge devices. One time I missed my alarm (normally the vibration that wakes me up, not the noise) and I wasn't able to 'pillow' my phone.

Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent location for a trip to Plymouth. Staff we spoke to very polite, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend to others and would stay again.

Was surprised to have bunk beds on arrival but the top bunk was a double. My friend informed me she had a good nights sleep on the top bunk and it was really comfortable.

Great location, very clean and tidy - all the facilities you need!

I was really impressed with my stay at Fox House Studios! I only stayed for the one night as it was a quick visit to see a friend and go to the theatre but the location was perfect, the check-in instructions were clear and the room was clean with great facilitates - I would definitely stay again.

This didn’t matter too much but the water temperature was a bit temperamental when showering. I also visited during extremely hot weather and although the room came with a fan (which I massively appreciated!), it wasn’t particularly powerful and it was a bit too noisy to leave on overnight. So although it can’t be helped, the room was very warm!

Hidden gem!

This was our third stay here. I cannot believe how lovely the rooms are, so clean and more space than you would imagine. Although in the city you feel safe and secure, park your car outside and rooms are comfy and light with windows you can open.

A toilet seat that was not made for the pedestal in place. They were not meant for each other. Grouting at the bottom of the shower cubicle was in the main subject to black mould. The power socket beside the bed to use for my CPAP breathing equipment would not take a 3 pin plug, I had to run the cable across the room to below the TV. I am disabled and had to take great care using the toilet.

Good location, awful room in the summer weather.

The location was great.

I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a room. I know the property can’t help the heat at the moment but they need to provide something else to keep the room cool. I physically couldn’t sleep in the top bunk and ended up spending two nights sleeping on the floor.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Modern, clean and perfectly located close to the shopping centre (5 minutes to a Tesco Local) and the Barbican tourist area. A pleasant 15 minutes to stroll to the railway station too!

I couldn’t get the induction hob to work and the oven was difficult as the switch positions had faded and were unreadable. Some instructions would have been useful.

Great central location and surprisingly not too noisy,lovely welcome and friendly staff, clean room and bathroom.

The room was very small with no room to open suitcases and the bed had no headboard meaning we were chasing our pillows off the back all night.

Comfortable studio apartment

Lovely, great location, very clean and met our needs perfectly. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was very comfortable. A wonderful stay that was great value for money

The only things that weren’t ideal but not a bug issue was the shower cut out for a bit part way through, the water just stopped and sometimes the temperature went different randomly throughout however it did come back on. Additionally, the aerial cable for the tv was completely fried at the socket so when we wanted to watch tv it obviously didn’t work but this wasn’t a big problem.

Th property is a spacious, well-kitted apartment in a prime location with the Barbican in 4 minutes walking distance, with bars and shops only across way. The bed was so comfy and the whole apartment was clean. It was easy to gain access and collect keys. I’d always book this apartment if staying there again.
