Carpet in hallway of apartment was filthy, bedroom near kitchen smells of dog urine.
Sofa seat cushions were not fixed to sofa properly so kept sliding off sofa
Apartment smells quite bad of dog urine so felt quite dirty in the apartment, I didn’t want to use facilities too much in kitchen or walk around bare foot.
Felt uneasy also about door to apartment as there was a small room next to our door that was unlocked for anyone to use the washing machine so people were trying to open our door as no sign on the door to say washing machine. Being in a basement apartment it felt very unnerving at night.

We were not given clear instruction of entry to the property and the code was incorrect to enter the main door , we had to call back and get another code

Lovely apartment very clean perfect for what we neeeded
No hot water for showers or washing up
As we were there for one night only we all wanted showers in the morning. When I spoke to staff about it I was told I should have rung the night before, tried to explain that we didn’t use until morning I was told sorry nothing they could do.

Location is great for the town
The company pureserviced treated us awful took £150 security deposit which I will never get back used false information to keep the deposit lots of damage in the apartment please read Google reviews before deciding if to book

Cleanliness standards poor and disappointing - crumbs and sticky marks on sofas along with crumbs on kitchen floor and under the sofa (very easily visible without having to move sofa). Bathrooms cleaned to good standard, just living room area cleanliness disappointing. Exposed brick style kitchen/living area floor not comfortable and would be difficult to be properly cleaned.

We were charged extra for requesting an additional duvet for my friend to sleep on the sofabed - this was not mentioned during booking.

£10 charge for car parking noted in manual but we were charged £12.50?
Asked to check in early at 13:00 - but then advised it would be £10 per hour for early check in??
We were not told before we were left alone what the passcode was to get back into the main front door…had to work it out for ourselves as no-one around on the desk!
Later had a call to advise us of the code.

Our apartment was clean, warm, spacious and very well equipped. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was very central and perfect for walking to the Hoe, Barbican and City centre..

the reception staff member was so helpful and friendly - couldn’t have asked for more. she kept us updated on what would happen on our arrival and helped when we thought we may be running a little late. the property itself was spacious, incredibly well equipped and exactly what we were looking for in a stop over.
the only issue was the broken pane of glass in the lounge which we had been made aware of before arriving. this made the lounge quite cool and the bedrooms hot as the heating had to be turned up to allow for the draft. other than that, it was perfect for us

The electric controlled shower was broken, the shower remote controller didn’t work properly and the temperature was too high and it burned my skin.
I’ve emailed the customer service but they didn’t reply, I called the emergency number but no answer, I reported the problem to the staff when I checked out the next day, 4 of them were in the office but none of them care, one of them just say: “OK, I will get someone to look at it later.”
They didn’t even apologise for the unpleasant experience that I’ve had.
And plus the fact the main photo on the Booking.com is fake, it was the solicitor’s office building round the corner, it’s NOT the actual place I was staying. The place that I was staying is a doggy basement round the corner.
Not happy at all, I been using booking.com for many years and this is the first bad experience.

The Fridge
Wifi not working on arriving…..should have been advised on arrival. Needle in rug, which stabbed wife in foot causing pain and bleeding. dangerous bedside lamp with bare wires and loose lamp fitting which clearly did not go together. Ant infestation found on arrival in kitchen / lounge.
bedside table…handle just pulled off drawer, cracked wash hand basin in en-suite, both showers had foul drain smells. Very noisy location with adjacent bar playing music late into the night.
