Lucky to have found a beautiful place to stay

This property is a gem it had everything needed for a luxurious stay. We traveled for my son’s birthday so I cooked a full 3 course meal I was worried I would struggle to find all things needed I should not of worried it was home from home. The host checked in on us that was so nice. We were left snacks that was enjoyed after such a long journey. It was decorated for Christmas to high standard. Will definitely book again best place by far I have stayed in a a while.

A home from home, Devon gem.

Loved the cleanliness and location. It was like a home from home, fully equipped kitchen including basic cupboard staples, although not used a coffee machine too! So much information on the local area in a book. Games and books to read along with the most amazing bath, didn’t get a chance to use, but so wanted to! Beds were comfortable too.

Dorothy's dream cottage

Even better than described. We loved our stay at Dorothy's Cottage which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It's in a lovely quiet spot considering it's so convenient for Plymouth. We found it so well equipped. When we had a slight problem with the bathroom basin plug Sam came immediately and solved the issue.

beautifully presented, lovely decor and quality finishings. the owners were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. it was in a beautiful location which was really close to the city but felt completely detached from it- peaceful, quiet with nature right beside.

The perfect home from home experience. Sensibly priced and maintained to excellence.

The communication was awesome. First impression is a lasting impression and every element to the stay was thought out with exacting detail. After a long journey this really helped. The accommodation was clean to professional standards, the furniture and fittings stunning, the open plan layout perfect for a family and for entertaining. I honestly cannot commend the property and the owner enough. My daughter and her family left demanding that I book it again for them, as turned a mini-break into a well earned holiday. Thank you so much.

Location was excellent and the area is so peaceful. Sam and Dave are friendly and accommodating and easily contactable if required. The house is beautifully decorated and we couldn’t have been happier with our ‘home’ for our first trip to Plymouth! 10/10!

The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and stylish yet retains many original features. The location is quiet an serene but still in strolling distance to shops and a pub. There is easy access to Devon beaches, countryside and Plymouth. Perfect for our family.

A Short Christmas break

Really nice cottage in a lovely and quiet location. Very well equipped, and spacious. Dave was very welcoming and willing to answer all our questions. A lovely welcome hamper and Christmas decorations added to the welcome. Very close to Plymouth and some beautiful beaches, would definitely return
