Beautiful big house, clean and lots of extra touches that made the stay more comfortable

Lots of steps, this needs to be advised on the website a little more for people who may not be able to go up and down so much. Stairs down from the bedrooms to the bathrooms which isn’t easy at night time. Central heating difficult to work and house very cold on arrival. There is a parking space for 1 car but this is a little walk away and needs to be paid for I’m advance, don’t forget to pay in advance. House also not easy to get to by road so when unpacking and packing car up, was a little tricky. A few other little issues, some decorating required and a few things need fixing, eg toilet seat, hot tap and chair all broken.

Perfect location. Well furnished, attractive decor, and warm.

Parking very limited and expensive. Damp smell in kitchen area, but scented plugs help to mask it.

Overall a beautiful home. Architecture .. HOWEVER. read on for negatives...

Sophia and her staff Bailey are very quick to request money for this and that, but try get a refund from them when they dont deliver what is offered. .... different story. its now Sept. We stayed in July and still no recompense. Until escalated to customer service at Booking. com. Parking will cost you £16 a day if you're lucky to find somewhere. Mattresses were awful . Every bed!! Beds creaked. Bases on wooden floor directly.. so floor creaked and bed base creaked. Terrible sleep Curtains can't be closed in main bedroom. ( Unless you have 12 ft ladder) Ornaments need some TLC . thiught this luxe. If i could take a picture of every ornament the page would be full. Suffice to say they are NOTHING like the staged pictures. Pillows not all with protectors provided No mattress protectors. Some Duvets badly stained/ yellow. Unbelievably thin mattress toppers, which is not the same as a protector. Home caters for 10. However only seating in lounge for 5/6. Dining table only seats 8. Back garden is shameful for a "luxe" description. 3 seats. Broken lights. Weeds and no flowers. Need a clock Need scissors Need a whisk Air fryer would be good Black mould in shower Describes having washer dryer. But no dryer. Describes breakfast bar. But no breakfast bar. This is where the other two people could have eaten!!; away from the family though. A lovely stay ruined by the poor customer service which could have rectified the issues. Originally left 8 /10. now its been edited. Be warned.

Location was amazing! The 2 bathrooms were solid, the bedrooms were great, nice thick curtains to block out the early morning sun. Kitchen was well equipped.

We ran out of toilet paper and when I asked for more I was told we'd need to buy our own. This was unexpected, when you rent a house that sleeps 10 people you shouldn't be surprised by this, it was nearly a crisis! The management team should have made this very clear during the check in process. Also the master bedroom consisted of 2 single beds slid together which was not the most comfortable way to sleep together. The listing was very vague regarding what type of beds were in each room, and when the management asked what bed configuration we required I was unsure what options even existed. The listing could be more clear on this topic.

The house is stunning and so comfortable, decorated and furnished in a way that will make anyone feel at home!

The house is very big and spacious, perfect for a large family. I really liked the decorations in the house, it made it cozy.

the bed mattress was really annoying and uncomfortable, I missed my bed during the 10 night stay.

Clean tidy and modern

The main bedroom curtains didn’t close This had been mentioned several times in the guest book but nothing has been done about it.
