Plymouth Hoe Hideaway

Absolutely ideal for a a few days in Plymouth for two and a dog. We parked close by easily using the passes available and then everything is walking distance The Hoe to walk with the dog, The Barbican, the town centre and the Theatre Royal. The small “yard” is a sun trap. Great for sitting outside to eat or read. The kitchen was adequate for basics like ready meals and salad. The bedroom was great - large, comfortable and plenty of electric sockets.

The sitting area and tv is really a corridor. This means it’s not meant for spending time in more difficult if there were four guests. We struggled with the TV! There were no USB sockets. Fortunately we had an adaptor plug with us. If just one of the double sockets was replaced with one that had USB ports that would be a great benefit. We are currently travelling with 6 devices between us.

Nothing, We loved our stay.

I booked this apartment for 2 adjudicators coming to a dance scholarship and they said this was perfect for them to be able to work and rehearse without disturbing anyone else. The bedrooms were large and the beds really comfortable. A lovely quiet area but with everything in easy walking distance. Was worried about parking but this wasn't an issue although busy, cars were coming and going relatively quickly so managed to find a parking space easily and put 2 parking permits in for the 2 days and not having to worry was great. Everything they needed for cooking was there and they were able to sit outside for our breakfast which was lovely. They only had a 2 day stay but I would definitely book again for next time.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

The hosts were very responsive & helpful. The apartment was very close to everything & very comfortable for our 2 night stay. It was quiet & there is a great park nearby if you bring a dog.

There is no parking outside the apartment but you can park on Citadel Road & use visitor parking permits each day which the host supplies for £3 per day, it is only a short walk so not too much of a problem.
