We had a great family break away with our dog.

The hosts were very responsive & helpful. The apartment was very close to everything & very comfortable for our 2 night stay. It was quiet & there is a great park nearby if you bring a dog.

There is no parking outside the apartment but you can park on Citadel Road & use visitor parking permits each day which the host supplies for £3 per day, it is only a short walk so not too much of a problem.

Very good information provided at property and everything you need including iron - last minute ironing before graduation Excellent communication with host - they were very prompt to reply when I mislaid the key and so lovely about it Host keen for you to have a good stay -which we did

Very clean,very comfortable beds and large bedrooms.Everything you need for self catering.Shower was powerful.High speed wifi also.Great information provided by the owners and very quick to respond.Great leaving the parking permits for us and explaining in great detail where to park.Central to everything.Thanks for everything.

Would highly recommend especially if you are bringing a dog

Great location for us with a dog as there was a park less than a 5 minute walk away from the apartment. Good wifi, powerful shower, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed. Friendly hosts who sent helpful messages. Parking permits provided that cost £3 a day and we found a space within a short distance of the apartment. Quiet considering the proximity to the centre of town. Had 2 fantastic meals at Rockfish (dog friendly) which was less than a 15 minute walk away.

A lovely weekend in Britain’s Ocean City.

Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Central yet quiet. “Hideaway” is well-named! We were able to park near the apartment for a very reasonable rate using the visitor permits supplied but we didn’t use our car once, it’s easy walking distance to all the places you might want to visit, the Barbican, the Hoe, the City Centre, Royal William Yard, Home Park etc. The apartment is clean and well-appointed with helpful instructions left by the hosts who were very communicative whilst not intruding and I’m sure if we’d had any problems they would have sorted them straight away. Pet-friendly too with an enclosed outside space.

Bedrooms are a decent size but other parts of the apartment felt a bit cramped.

Cosy hideaway in Plymouth!

Pete could not have been more helpful. Please note, read the instructions and go to the flat on the LEFT, not the right. He tolerated my stupidity with complete understanding- what a nice guy! Lovely little cosy flat, ideal for the 4 of us. Central location, the parking vouchers work well and everything was super comfy. Great wifi, efficient heating (boy did we need it, freezing temps) and equipped with all we needed for a couple of days stay. The place is immaculately clean and very welcoming indeed. Spot on for a place to stay in central Plymouth.

A real home from home and a hidden gem in the City of Plymouth.

A true hidden gem in the City of Plymouth in an absolute perfect location. Our hosts were incredibly attentive making sure we had everything we need and taking the time to provide meticulous instructions for local requirements such as parking as well as little extra touches like a little treat for our arrival as well providing a pack up with details of things to do from a local perspective is incredibly helpful. The apartment can only be described as perfect for our stay thoroughly cleaned throughout and a true home from home. Plenty of space for 4 adults and the master bedroom certainly has the wow factor! A truly memorable stay for all of us and we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent stay at Hoe Hideaway

The property is in an excellent location, situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just minutes away from Smeaton’s Tower. The basement apartment was bigger than expected. The outdoor space wraps round and would be perfect on warmer evenings with the solar lighting. The main bedroom was very generous with many original features. The bed was really comfortable and we loved the remote control candles in the fireplace! Our daughter slept in the second bedroom which again was ample with a large double bed and window seat. I really enjoyed the shower, it had a great flow and was easy to operate. The kitchen area was well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. The owners were also fantastic at communicating information about the property prior to our stay. All in all, we had a really lovely experience at the Hoe Hideaway and would highly recommend this accommodation to others.

At first we weren’t sure about the parking, but the hosts were fantastic at sorting this out with daily ‘pay and display’ parking scratch cards. There was ample ‘pay and display’ parking close-by.
