Cottage is out of the way and cozy, very peaceful, has plenty of nature, hosts are fantastic, feels like a home away from home, situated in fantastic area, shower is amazing.

Slightly cramped sink in bathroom, bed could do with a mattress topper as it was a bit hard on girlfriend's back.

Easy access to property. Parking right outside. As my husband is disabled that was a bonus .Quite ,clean ,everything we could want was included in the stay .. We did not meet the host ,but communications by Jo was very good .

First parking. For as a disabled driver, having a parking space off the road was brilliant. Didn’t have to walk far with our cases. The chalet was lovely. Just right for our two night stay. The bed was VERY comfortable. I have a spine injury and slept solidly both night. That’s a first for me. So I was very happy about that. Felt very safe at Silvermead Stables, and as it was so hot slept with the window wide open. Not something we can do at home in London as that is NOT safe. The chalet was welcoming, comfortable and we really relaxed there. Nice touch having a microwave provided to, and plates and cutlery. It was nice NOT to have to cook while we were away but knowing utensils were provided if you wanted to eat at the chalet was great. The shower was lovely. The right pressure to feel your skin refreshed and tingling but not so much it would blow you away. We loved staying at Jo and Verns property - and Jo is such a lovely friendly lady - we could have chatted for hours I’m sure. But I had to let her go back to her family. The best thing for us, Jo told us if you need ANYTHING to just give her a knock on her door. We didn’t, but what was great was that we weren’t ‘hassled’ by the hosts at all. We have stayed in lots of other places where the hosts are constantly knocking on the door. We loved the Jo just let us get on with it knowing we would ask if we needed help. Thank you Jo & Vern. We loved our stay with you. We hope to return in the future.
