    Amazing villa
    The place was beautiful. It was integrated into the surrounding rice terraces and the pool allowed you to feel part of nature. Adi and staff were great. One day Adi took us to see the Arak farming and processing, batik and ikat weaving and other things. It was honestly my best day of the trip

    The most beautiful view in Sidemen
    Is it possible to give more than 5 ⭐️ ? This place is a dream. The view is breathtaking. This is a place you never want to leave. We booked just for one night so we had massages and dinner on the terrace of the bamboo house. Breakfast was great too. Waking up there was a very special and dreamy experience. Adi and his staff were the kindest and most helpful hosts. Thank you, we’ll definitely come back !

    Adi and the team make your romatic time unforgettable
    We had an unforgettable stay at Vishala Resort in Sidemen, thanks to Adi and his incredible team. We were there during our honeymoon, and it was actually the very first night my husband and I saw each other again after our wedding. From the moment we arrived, they did everything they could to make this moment truly special for us. The team surprised us with the most beautiful details: a floating breakfast, a romantic candlelight dinner for two, and constant care and attention throughout our stay. We felt genuinely looked after in a very personal and warm way, nothing felt forced, everything felt sincere. The villa itself is absolutely stunning: peaceful, beautifully designed, and perfectly integrated into nature. Even though we visited during the rainy season, it honestly didn’t matter at all. The atmosphere, the views, and the calm made it a wonderful place to stay regardless of the weather. If you are celebrating a special life event, a honeymoon, anniversary, or just want to create meaningful memories together, this place is perfect. We would recommend Vishala Resort 100% and are deeply grateful to Adi and his team for making our honeymoon start so incredibly special.

    A rare gem in the heart of the nature!
    This property is a rare pearl of amazingly thoughtful bamboo decoration, incredibly curated garden and an absolutely heavenly view!! One could just sit and melt into the scenery all day! The manager was super present and helpful in every way, helped us organise rafting and was there for anything we needed. Very secluded and cozy location! Bravo!

    An experience!
    Everything. The accommodation was exactly as shown in pictures if not better, it was stunning. I loved how it was indeed a retreat as the place is in the middle of nowhere. Very romantic. The staff was sooo helpful and lovely. Going above and beyond for us. Willing to communicate when things were not clear. They also offered a variety of tours which was absolutely convenient considering that Sidemen has little to no transportation.
    Please before booking keep in mind that this is a bamboo house. As such, you will find insects and other small animals which are part of the ecosystem and obviously cannot be avoided.

    Magical, and longing to be back.
    The stay at Vishala from 2-4 Aug was magical. If you are ever put off by the distance from more popular tourist spots, don’t be. (1) It provided a respite and quietness not easily found elsewhere. (2) The bamboo resort was comfortable, with the best views (which just keeps giving). It was truly a natural beauty providing great views of Mt Agung and excellent views of the rice terrace. (3) Adi and the team made sure to welcome us with the best hospitality (warm welcome, breakfast to our doorstep, checking in on how the stay has been). Adi also bought us on the tour of the rice terraces and addressed any transport woes/ concerns we initially had. The team was so committed to caring for us, it made our stay so much more pleasant. I’m still thinking bout this place, and long to be back even after leaving. 10/10 recommend.
    Full disclosure there were insects, but that’s how you know you were truly in nature. After awhile, we just embrace it as part of the experience. Don’t let it turn you off.

    A Dream Getaway in Sidemen! Our stay at Vishala Retreat Bali was absolutely fantastic! The accommodation was like something out of a dream—beautifully designed, serene, and incredibly well-maintained. Every detail was perfect, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind. A huge thank you to Adi, our wonderful host, and his amazing staff. The service was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make our stay special. They were also incredibly thoughtful and caring towards my pregnant girlfriend, always making sure she was comfortable and well looked after. That personal attention made all the difference. One of the highlights of our trip was the Sidemen tour with Adi. Since he’s a local from Sidemen and seems to know everyone in the area, the tour gave us a real, authentic glimpse into village life. It was fun, insightful, and something we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat with top-notch hospitality and a chance to experience the real Bali, Vishala Retreat is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!
