We enjoyed our stay overall. The location is beautiful and peaceful, making it a great place to experience Sidemen. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always helpful, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable.

The main downside was the presence of termites in the room. We understand that being surrounded by nature can bring insects, but this issue was noticeable enough to affect our comfort during the stay.

We had a lovely stay at Griya Valud in Sidemen. The place is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and perfect for relaxing. A special thank you to all the staff, especially Nika, who was always smiling, kind, and very helpful. She truly made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!

The rooms are really comfortable European style which is rare in Bali. Ac is quiet and efficient.

There is an ongoing construction right on the premises which was not mentioned in the property description. It was unpleasant surprise. It was quite disturbing and made staying in the hotel uncomfortable. Also, it's not our first time in Sidemen and I was disappointed that the area is the least scenic of all our previous visits. There is literally no view, just a garden. I feel bad for those who come to Sidemen first time and miss out on all the beauty. It's better to stay on the other road, where Wapa di ume and lots of other hotels are. The views are so much better there. At last I didn't appreciate the staff attitude when I asked if we can stay in the room a bit longer. Apparently, they didn't expect any new guests but they requested for extra charge to stay extra hours. I felt that the hotel value was inflated as it is and declined. It was poor weather, strong storm and rain and me and my kids had to vacate the room in the midst of it. Felt pretty miserable and felt a bitter taste to the whole experience. Overall I felt it's a poor value for money compared to other options in the area. You should inform the guests of the construction before booking and you should definitely provide discounted rates for the duration of construction.
