Many of the villas are brand new.

First of all, most is very new, so there is a lot of potential. But it’s managed very bad. This hotel needs a lot of things to be improved. As a start they have a complete open window part in the bathroom. Which means many insects are living in the bathrooms, spiders, mosquitoes, snails, cockroaches. When I asked the receptionist why they don’t put a mosquito screen in front of it at least they told me it’s all not a problem because you have a mosquito net around your bed. I was very surprised! Why would you want all these mosquitoes in your bathrooms? Other hotels in Bali immediately say don’t open windows at night next to the rice fields. But this one they don’t even have a window or cover and say it’s not a problem. Hilarious! Then most of the staff is not English speaking. I understand and respect local languages, but in a hotel, you expect at least that people can help you. When we asked something at the night receptionist, he needed to call someone to translate. Then the breakfast, it’s really bad. You get scrambled eggs and two slices of completely white bread. That’s all. No fruit, nothing. Or if you order the pancakes, you get one very thin, very small pancake. You leave the breakfast hungry. Also in all other 3 hotels were we stayed in Bali they had free water refills from bottled or filtered water, which is mandatory as a tourist. You even need it to brush your teeth. Here in this hotel there was no refill, you have to buy the water. Then there was garbage all around the property, in the river, but also next to our room window. They said they clean it every day. But outside our window was laying construction material, from a couple of months ago at least. As last, the wood around the swimming pool is not new, it’s definitely a couple of years old and it’s in bad state. Pieces are coming off and you easily have a piece of wood in your feet. My daughter had it in her hand from one time crawling over it.

The staff here are super friendly! The place has an amazing view and a big pool that’s definitely the highlight — seriously the best spot to chill. Wi-Fi works great, breakfast is really good, and they even rent out scooters which makes getting around super easy. The room was super spacious and clean. Overall, just a really awesome stay — the pool and the vibe make it extra special!

We had an amazing time here. The wooden house was super comfy with a big cozy bed, and everything was really clean. Breakfast was delicious, and they had free coffee and tea too. The massage in the morning was so relaxing, and it's only a 15-minute walk to the center, which was really convenient. The place is peaceful, and the staff were super friendly. Would definitely comback!

What a wonderful stay at Cassowary. The place is amazing (especially the pool), everything is brand new and the staff gives everything so that you spend an amazing time. I recommend 100%.

Mooi zwembad met ligbedden. Locatie was goed. Ontbijt was goed. Badkamer was heel apart.

Très belle vue depuis la piscine Le personnel, bien que manquant d’expérience, fait son possible pour répondre au mieux aux demande des clients.

- La porte ne fermait pas à notre arrivée (rapidement réparée), - Problème important de fuite au niveau de la couverture : Au premier soir, nous avons informé le personnel que le lit et la couette étaient humides. On nous a répondu qu’ils étaient simplement froid à cause de la clim… Dans la nuit, lors d’une grosse averse, nous avons été réveillés par de l’eau qui goûtait sur le lit. Au total, 3 fuites dans la chambre et une cascade dans la chambre. Contrairement à ce qu’il nous a été dit, les fuites semblaient être trop importantes pour ne pas être connues. Après négociation, on nous a proposé de changer de chambre. Nous avons perdu une demi-journée pour régler le problème. - Absence de sèche-cheveux, absence de mini bar (contrairement à l’annonce), absence de prise de courant à proximité de la bouilloire, absence de chaise dans la chambre pour poser ces affaires, absence de sèche serviette ou autre pour faire sécher ces affaires, commandes d’éclairage difficilement accessibles (derrière le rideau et derrière une armoire)… - Environnement de la résidence sale et non nettoyé, - Complexe touristique en construction à proximité, - Petit déjeuner décevant,
