Our stay at Barong was beautiful, from the grounds and gardens to the exquisite room and view. This is the real Bali. Beautiful and tranquil countryside setting among rice fields.
Agung was a wonderful host who made our stay so much more special. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and very enthusiastic and fun to interact with each day.
Made and all the staff here at Barong were a delight.
The traditional blessing on entry was a great taste of culture and start to the stay.
The food was freshly made - delicious everytime, with local ingredients and flavours - some from the gardens of Barong,
Massages on-site and scooters hired through Barong, are some of the property perks.
We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you again.

This place is excellent value for money. The rooms are very nice and very clean with amazing views of rice fields and Agung. It is out of the main tourist area and no close by dining options. You really need a scooter if you stay here which was easy to hire at the accommodation. The staff are very attentive and helpful and they have a reasonable food menu which they deliver to your balcony. A nice small pool but flooring around pool needs attention and maybe shade around the pool such as umbrellas for loungers would make it more appealing. Overall, a very relaxing stay in beautiful Sidemen.

Not a lot of food options, It is difficult to get there.
Also everything you ask the front desk to help you with they charge you 50%-70% more.
Example a scooter, a taxi, boat tickets.
