Pet friendly, and the staff were so responsive.

Breakfast & coffee could be a little better. Juices were not tasted at all.

We have been to Sidemen 3 times and this is by far our favorite place. We will without a doubt be staying here when we come back! Surrounded by beautiful flowers and birds chirping. Super comfy room. We had the best nights sleep we have had in Bali.

I had a wonderful stay at The Babakan Accommodations! Location is perfect. Luckily the weather was great and got amazing views of Mt Agung. Gede and his Family do a fantastic job running the place. They were super helpful and responsive. They serve delicious breakfast on the room terrace, and they can arrange transport. Room was spacious, bed comfortable, all facilities great. Loads of local restaurants in short walking distance. Sideman is wonderfully peaceful, a very chilled pace. It was great to spend time relaxing in the beautiful countryside. Would love to return and would stay here again.

The host was very accessible and the breakfast on the verandah was spectacular.

Amazing views straight from your room, local places to eat, shops, silver workshops and massage all within a couple of minutes walk. The rooms were spotless and breakfast is served right on your terrace. We contacted the hotel before arriving and they were so helpful, they picked us up from Ubud, arranged our silver making workshop, our ferry over to Gili Air and took us to the pier 10 out of 10 is not enough for the service we received. Would 100% recommend

This place is paradise. I spent 7 nights here and didn't want to leave. Waking up in one of the most comfortable beds l've ever slept in, to the view of Mt Agung looming over the rice fields and tropical scenery, was incredible. Then having a delicious breakfast delivered to my porch was heaven. All breakfast choices were amazing but the banana pancakes were out of this world. Shout out to master cook Nengah. These rooms, and grounds, are kept meticulously clean, with bed change every day if you want! Even my A/C was serviced while I was there. I organised a 5 course Balinese cooking course through the accommodation, at Warung Deva, with Aunty Wayan, which was a great experience. I’m looking forward to trying out my new skills when I get home. l also organised a rice fields trek through them, which was also an amazing experience. My brilliant guide, Kadak, first took me to the local morning markets where the locals buy their produce for the day. I got to try some of the local fruits and treats, and bought some Balinese cooking knives which are the best and somehow stay sharp forever! We walked through back streets, past schools and temples, to the stunning fields. Along the way we were met with a local man who has a stall with fresh coconut and peanuts for the trekkers. You can sit and sip your coconut milk whilst listening to him play musical instruments- heaven! Kadak has very good English skills, which everyone does, so we had great communication, with him giving constant information about local culture. Gede, the wonderful host of this family run accommodation, couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating, available at all hours if needed. His constant smile was a highlight of my day. Gede organised a driver for the day for me, Komang, who was also very helpful throughout the day.

Location and view was perfect, also the breakfast was really good. Staff was super friendly. The room was clean!

AC gets turned off by cleaning staff. But not a big problem. There is holes above the windows without nets so mosquitoes can get in. Make sure to wear repellent then there is no problem.

Great location and absolute great value for money. Views into the rice field and the volcano right from your bed.

What a view!!!!! Extremely neat and tidy place, such attention to growing pretty flowers, keeping the place tip top and tidy, well lit as well. Beds very comfortable, bathroom spacious and clean, very good water pressure. Gede, our host, was quite friendly and informative.

Breakfast on day one, since we requested for it to be on move, was unsatisfactory. Only a pancake and a single banana. That was disappointing. The restaurant Gede dropped us to after our day outing to Pura Besakhi (Nivriti) was very sub par (expensive, food and coffee was bad). It was raining heavily, so we had no choice but to stay on. This doesn't reflect badly on the place, but it was not a pleasant situation to be in at the suggestion of the host.

Amazing family business. The father keeps the place spotless and the son is an amazing guide. Friendly atmosphere and excellent location to explore the area. I highly recommend renting a bike and enjoying the surroundings

Beautiful view , the silence, the space in the room . Good AC and a ceiling fan .

I was looking forward to the breakfast in the morning . I had to leave at 7 am by pushbike but the breakfast could only served between 8 am and 10 am .

The accomodation is located in a really peaceful, quite place, with a beautiful nature view. It’s better to rent a scooter to move around the area. The hosts were amazingly welcoming, friendly and helpful! They were always reachable and helping us with all kinds of questions, requests and program opportunities. Well organized programs(cooking class, silver jewelry making, one day trip). The breakfast was also tasty all mornings! The room/beds were really comfortable and quiet! Only the sound of nature! We loved it all!

There were just some small hints which we openly discussed with the host, who was grateful for the ideas and also mentioned that they are planning some extras. Anyway 5* 😉😊

Breakfast could be improved a little

Lovely units, simple accommodation but has everything you need, lovely location, friendly hosts, breakfast was good for the price level, and although it was the most “budget” stay of our trip it was to a high standard, and really good for the price point. Would definitely stay again. Pictures are accurate, and it was very clean. Aircon really good! lovely and cold which is one of the most important factors, in fact it was better than a couple of far more expensive properties.

Nothing to dislike, it was really good, a mini fridge, and inside table or desk and a chair would really elevate it, although it wasnt a problem.

Very new and clean and at a beautiful location. Close to loads of warungs and walking distance to the rice fields!

The owner has to learn a bit about running a hotel I think. My friends phone got wet in the river and we asked for a bit of rice to put her phone in (which after googeling we found out doesn't even work :') He gave us a tiny bowl with rice and charged us 20k for it? The accomodation is new and clean and spacious but too expensive for what you get in my opinion. We stayed in way fancier hotels with a pool and better breakfast for half the price. Also the communication is just very vague and unclear, host is kind but very bad in communication

New, very clean homestay type of accommodation in the middle of Sidemen, with friendly hosts and unparalelled views of Mt. Agung right outside the window. Simple but very comfortable.

We extending our stay in Sidemen and booked the Babakan Accomodation as a one night stay. The owner was really friendly, helpful and didn’t hesitate to fulfil our wishes. We had a beautiful view to the Mount Agung Volcano from our room / terrace. I can highly recommend this place. It opened recently, therefore not so much reviews. Everything was as it should be. We left early in the morning - before breakfast time, which starts at 7am - and the owner offered to prepare the breakfast at 6am before we leave. Breakfast was excellent - omelette and a really good Bali coffee. Highly recommended

Het uitzicht is echt fenomenaal. De locatie is goed, in het centrum, maar toch rustig en op loopafstand van veel leuke restaurantjes. De kamer is schoon, het bed is fijn en de airco werkt goed. Het ontbijt is prima. Goede prijs.

Allereerst het uitzicht (op een heldere dag) is fantastisch op vulkaan Agung! En de familie die de accommodatie runt is ontzettend vrolijk en behulpzaam. Je voelt je er meteen thuis. Je zit op loopafstand van meerdere restaurants/warungs (1min lopen ben je bij 3 warungs)). En in een half uurtje loop je naar de rijstvelden. Je kan via the Babakan ook een rijstveld tour boeken of een taxi nemen. Ze bieden ook andere activiteiten aan. Ik heb zelf de kookcursus en een tour door oost Bali gedaan. Sla vooral de Gemblemg waterval niet over! Ik kan het iedereen aanraden! In het dorp heb ik mijn kleding laten wassen en ook hier kon ik naar toe lopen. De kamer (er zijn er 4) is heel netjes, een lekker groot bed en een nette schone badkamer. Er is een klein koelkastje met wat drinken en er zijn wat snacks. Ze maken de kamer elke dag schoon. Het ontbijt is super lekker en er is ruime keuze.

Dit is natuurlijk persoonlijk; voor mij was het fijn geweest als er tussen het terras van mij en de buren iets van een kleine afscheiding had gezeten voor iets meer privacy.

Große Zimmer und ein großes, sauberes Bad. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits von der Straße, daher ist es ruhiger. Schöner Blick auf den Vulkan.

Einfaches Frühstück aber reicht.

Een heerlijke plek aan de rand van het dorp. Vanaf het terras heb je een prachtig uitzicht. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk, het ontbijt is heerlijk en ze regelen alles heel goed (excursie, chauffeur, etc.) We kregen bij ons vroege vertrek zelfs een ontbijtpakketje mee.

Emplacement, confort, beauté de l’environnement

El entorno del alojamiento es increíble, rodeado de campos de arroz y vistas al volcán. La habitación es muy cómoda y la ubicación muy tranquila. El desayuno muy bueno, te lo sirven en la terraza de tu habitación. Ofrecen muchos otros servicios. Nosotros contratamos la recogida en Ubud, el curso de cocina (recomendadísimo), el alquiler de la moto, el trekking de 2h y el desplazamiento a Padangbai. El alojamiento lo lleva un chico muy joven con su padre, muy simpáticos y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en cualquier cosa. Recomendamos muchísimo este alojamiento.

Superbe chambre avec une vue magnifique ! Location de scooter possible directement sur place, un vrai plus. Le personnel est très gentil et a l’écoute ! Nous avons passé un bon moment.

Un lugar increíble, muy tranquilo y con unas vistas maravillosas. El desayuno muy bueno y te lo llevan a la terraza de la habitación. Tienen actividades para hacer, nosotras contratamos el treking por las terrazas de arroz y fue maravilloso. El personal es muy amable y la ubicación es muy buena, a escasos minutos caminando de restaurantes y bares para cenar/comer. Volvería sin dudarlo.

La struttura è particolare, molto bella e curatissima, oltre la vetrata della camera si apre una vista sulle risaie e sulle colline, veramente affascinante, ricollega lo spirito alla natura. Possibilità di affittare i motorini o di noleggiare taxi. Il wi-fi funziona egregiamente. Il proprietario è gentile e disponibile. A pochi metri diversi ristoranti per tutti i gusti e per tutte le tasche. A Bali è uno dei posti che ci è piaciuto di più.

Einfach alles. Wir haben uns von Anfang bis zum Ende super wohl gefühlt. Der Gastgeber und sein Sohn strahlen so eine Freundlichkeit aus. Vielen Dank für die tollen Tage!

Uns hat vor allem das bequeme Bett, die umwerfende Aussicht, das schmackhafte Frühstück und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit dem Sohn der Inhaberfamilie gefallen. Hervorragend war auch der Trek, den sie für uns organisiert haben. Unser Guide war Kadek, der Sohn des Restaurants & Shops von schräg gegenüber. Er hat uns sehr viel gezeigt und wir haben viel über Bali gelernt.
