From the moment I arrived, Au and Gunter made me feel genuinely welcome. They are always smiling, resourceful, and eager to help, and their excellent English made communication effortless. Their warmth and hospitality were among the highlights of my stay. Although the property is still relatively new, it is already exceptional. The owners have some exciting plans for further developing the grounds, and I can’t wait to see what it looks like in a year or two when I return. The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely stunning, overlooking Sidemen’s rice fields, valleys, and surrounding mountains. The spacious balcony was one of my favorite places to unwind, enjoy the scenery, and simply relax. The room and bathroom were both spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed, including tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, and plenty of drinking water. The food deserves special mention. Every meal was prepared fresh by the family and was consistently delicious, generous in portion size, and incredibly affordable. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I’ve had anywhere in Bali. Having breakfast outdoors while overlooking the surrounding nature was a wonderful way to start each day. The level of service went far beyond expectations. When I mentioned that I was interested in getting a massage, they arranged for a therapist to come directly to my room. The one-hour Balinese massage was one of the best and most affordable massages I’ve had in Bali. They also organized a scooter in excellent condition for my day of exploring the village and even provided complimentary transport to my next accommodation nearby. Gunter also works as a driver and has his own vehicle available if guests require transportation, which adds another level of convenience. Everything about this stay felt personal, thoughtful, and authentic. If you’re looking for beautiful views, delicious food, genuine hospitality, and a peaceful place, I highly recommend

We loved our stay here. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful providing transport when we needed. The restaurant food was also amazing. It was so nice to see the real Bali and experience traditional food and hospitality.

The lovely friendly welcoming host family Au & Gunter.. The food at their restaurant is definitely the best we have eaten in Bali & great prices also. The amazing views from our large comfortable clean room. We enjoyed sitting on our large private balcony soaking up the beautiful vistas. Excellent breakfasts. Also copious drinking water is supplied, & our own witchetty with fridge & tea making facilities. The hosts speak English, & Gunter also works as a driver having his own vehicle if you require transportation.

A few steps downhill to our room, but the amazing views from our room more than compensated.

Such a beautiful view, big room and bathroom, nice and clean. Restaurant on site, owners did the cooking with fresh produce everyday, meals were big, delicious and so cheap. The owners were very lovely and accommodating, they organised our silver making and drove us there and also drove us back to Kuta at a cheap price.

Nothing I just regret not staying longer.
